Hello, On Feb 22, 2023 I ordered custom tail lights for my vehicle (2-door 2010 ***** *****) for $1,086.5 USD, which, when itemized, includes a base cost of $475, ceramic coated lenses ($50), Optional RGB Color Changing Functions w/ ********* Controller ($200), Optional Tail Light Assemblies ($300), Blacked Out Internals, and taxes. On Mar 15, I received it and learned it did not fit my vehicle, then contacted the company for return/exchange. I was given the option for both, however to exchange, the seller asked for an additional $695, saying he would not provide color changing functions (saving $200), and that I need to ship in my existing tail lights for modification (saving $300). He did offer to black out the internals ($25) and provide the animated start up sequences.I refused and requested the refund, stating that the surplus charge was over budget and illogical given nearly all features are removed. A few days later he replied he would "eat the costs" and that "at the end of the day, [he] want[s] you to get what [I] originally wanted." I agreed, and on Apr 2, I shipped my lights.I received the lights on Apr 28, and began installing May 21. Numerous connections were missing and the internals were not blacked out, as agreed upon in writing.I reached out via email on May 21 and May 23, then by text on May 24, 25, 29, and on their Instagram profile on May 21, May 24, and Jun 1, from which they deleted my comments, but did not respond until after I submitted a chargeback with my bank Jun 2. They responded angrily at the chargeback, claiming the product works, without addressing any of the photos or descriptions of the problems I've sent over the past few weeks. They claimed they built me my tail lights "for FREE", however if I place a new order on their site for what I received, it amounts to less than $550. I paid $1,086.5 and received my own lights rendered defective and missing agreed modifications. Further contact can be seen in the images below.Customer response
