If I could rate a zero that would be ideal. Tracy Becker Construction is extremely unprofessional and rude. Tracy Becker Construction installed a sliding door with the handle to the door upside down and also damaged the brand new siding around the door. I called immediatley to inform them and had to follow up many many times - here it is 4 months later, after several cancellations on their end and I had to provide the custom siding for repair. No compensation, no apology - the only thing we recieved was rude customer service and many cancellations. I will continue to write reviews until our job is completed to our satisfaction. NEVER AGAIN with Tracy Becker Construction!

I am very sorry to hear about your door issues. It is our hope to have happy customers with every install. I have looked into your file and below are my finding: We are scheduled to come out on 1/10/2023 to complete your job. The door you purchased is a universal patio door and the the panels are designed to change the handing by flipping the entire door upside down and move the track pieces to the other side. That is what the installer did. It locked and was secure at the time of install. The store reached out and to the manufacturer to get the handing so the words are not upside down and that will be completed at the scheduled appointment. The siding was not damaged. The J channel is separating. But that’s because the header was bowed and we had to build up your sill and level the header and square the opening to properly install the new door. When doing that the J channel legs were too short and the miter gap was wider in the corners. You had your siding company get 2- 12’ pieces of the custom colored J channel (it's on site) and that too will be completed at the scheduled appointment. Your install was done on 10/3/2022. A work order was opened documenting all of your concerns along with the the notes from the detail about the sag in the header. We had you scheduled for 12/30 but needed to reschedule. New scheduled date was 1/3/2023 the installer arrived and no one was home, you advised you left your door unlocked, but our contract states someone 18 or older must be present so Installer moved on to his next job. We are confident the job will be completed to your satisfaction on 1/10/2023. Once again, please accept my sincere apologies.

We ordered a custom door and storm door from ***** and TBC was subcontracted to do the installation. The whole process has been a mess! I had to call and check up on the initial installation date as no one called me to set up a date. I called TBC two times and left messages, which no one returned. On my third attempt, I finally got a person and a date was scheduled. When they did finally come to install the door, they discovered that the brick mold was never ordered (by ***** in Hamburg, who will also be getting a negative review). TBC ordered the new brick mold-and I again had to call and check up on the order, as no one called me to tell me it was in or to schedule an installation date. I had to call *****, and they called TBC three times, again without anyone getting back to me. On the third attempt, we finally got a person at TBC and a date was set up for installation. When the installers came to install the brick mold, it was discovered that the wrong size brick mold was ordered. The whole process started again...this time with me/***** representative having to call TBC SIX times until we got a person to talk to. Any attempts at leaving messages were ignored and no one would return a message. Installation date was set for a third time, and for a third time the order was wrong! This time TBC ordered the brick mold without stain. The installers were able to use some of the trim from attempt #2 and some unstained trim from attempt #3, so at least the project could be completed (at least on their end) after FIVE MONTHS. I am still left with the task of trying to find a stain to match my door. TERRIBLE customer service (both from ***** and TBC)!!! TBC tried to blame me for their mistakes and miscommunication. Thank goodness the doors seems to have been installed correctly!

I am so sorry for the trouble you experienced. I have looked into your order and I do see the brick mold was not sent with the door initially installed on 9/7/21. TBC documented on your completion paperwork and reported that to the store. TBC does not order any products. I also see the second time 10/13/21 all that was ordered was brick mold for a single entry, but you have an entry with 2 side lites. I am reaching out to the store you purchased from to ask them to provide you with the correct colored brick mold and we can swap that out or perhaps they can provide paint so you have the correct color. Painting is not part of our contract. I do know products have been on backorder and I apologize again for the delays. I am happy that the door is installed properly.
