On July 1, 2022 a sales representative met with me in my home to provide me with an estimate for installing storage in my garage. I design was created and I was told I had three days to cancel the request. The very next day, July 2, 2022, using the cancellation email address the representative provided me, I requested the cancellation. I also contacted the representative via her email addess and she responded her regret. On july 5, 2022 I was not the less charged for the cancelled installation. I have had no luck in having the situation correctedBusiness response

Closets by Design is a preferred vendor for ********** and this client came to us via that relationship. In this circumstance, the contract is with ********** and payment goes through ********** as well. At the time of sale, we processed a deposit on the client's ********** credit card, but after hearing of his decision to cancel, a refund was processed for the full amount. Our records show this was done on July 7, 2022. Since the client has not received this refund, we have reached out to ********** to process the refund again and also entered a service ticket so they can investigate what happened. We've let the client know and we will continue to follow up with ********** regarding the reason for this problem. We are sorry this happened to the client and we were happy to assist with getting it corrected.Initial Complaint

I would not recommend this company to anyone!! Dont waste your time call ********** closets or another vendor. Their sales representative came out to my house measured for a custom walk in closet then after countless hours of zoom meetings building the closets sent me the pricing Which we both agreed to. Then calls me a half hour later and says oh no I made a mistake with a Price $3500 higher. Who makes a mistake like that? Then she tries to act like shes doing me a favor and takes a couple hundred bucks off the price. Total bait and switch sales tactics. I told her her company should honor the price she told me and they would not do it. Beware of closets by design and sales representative. I will not refer anyone to this company and will let everyone know on all social media platforms what they didBusiness response

We are very sorry to learn that this clients experience with our design process was less than exceptional. After reviewing all the details, we have determined a miscalculation in price occurred by our Designer,for which she regrets. In this situation we did not live up to our own expectations and for that we apologize. We have reached out to the client and in good faith have agreed to a resolution. We look forward in hope of gaining his complete and total satisfaction.
