We purchased the total gym, hoping that it would help us get into shape what we didnt realize is its very low to the ground. We both my wife and I both have osteoarthritis. I have it in my back and it was very difficult for me to get on and off the bench, my wife has it in her hands so its very difficult for her to hang onto the handles so we decide to send it back thinking that it works for other people and thats great. We could see where it could work, but it was causing us more pain than it was worth so we got in contact with them to send it back , the problem is the thing they dont tell you they give you a 30 or 60 day free trial and they will reimburse the money you spend on the total gym but its gonna cost you 150 and $180 to send it back and that does not get reimbursed and they do not tell you that Especially senior citizens on a fixed income. I think if they told you to make sure you want it even though youre just trying it youre gonna spend almost $200 that you will not get back just to try it and thats not cool that is a lot of money. Youd think that the company could do a little better than that. The basic machine is $1800. That is a large expense for someone to even decide they want to maybe try to incorporate the gym into their daily routine, I think if there was transparency, and you were honest with people letting them know that they get a 30 to 60 day free trial, but the return of the machine is going to be at their expense. It might make people think harder about getting one

Our return policy is stated on our website. " In order to give you the opportunity to try the Total Gym, we ship the gym to your home free of charge. However, if you decide to return the gym, the return shipping costs are not covered and vary by carrier and location." We regret any misunderstanding that occurred with this customer. I giving my review because , I have a total gym with all accessories, I had it for 6 years now never gave a review.My problem with this product is that it to heavy, when I purchase this product I was in a smaller apartment, but I Had enough space and able to leave it up.Six years later got a larger apartment and no space do not fit under the bed was never able to get a full workout because of the taking apart the pieces and putting it back on it and a roller really dont Roll at all , to much of a struggle for 1 person. This product just too heavy and bulky for people in apartments and people 60 years and older also female. I have no space, But I TRULY BELIEVE IN THE TOTAL GYM and will recommend anyone to buy it, quality and build is very well made for those who have room to get a good workout and the space to keep it open at all time.

Equipment is utter garbage. Poorly constructed. Poorly welded. I took my brand new total gym to a local welder, rather than deal with a company further, that didn't bother with quality control in the first place.

Just got it assembled, had to smile when I read on the box "some assembly require". After finishing assembly, I was more than satisfied with the Total Gym FIT model. I also appreciate the various safety features on the equipment and the safety suggestion illustrated on the DVD's. Excited to start using it. Chuck Norris IS IN THE HOUSE! There was some minor shipment damage, not Total Gym responsibility. Their customer service quickly resolved the matter. A five star experience. CMT: Just like the brand new house I bought in March 2022 "some assembly require" Also some people install their own exterior Christmas decorations and others pay to have it done. It's a choice. FYI, new automobiles come full assembled more costly though.

I’m gonna leave a review about how terrible this company is to order from. First they charge you for the shipping and then the next day cancel your order. After reading all the review and having the exact same issues, I have decided not to leave a review that will say the same thing. I will say that there processing agent named Mary **** S****** if that is her real name, will email you and say that the name and or address do not match what’s on the card. (????) wow you just charged me for the shipping which went through yet cancel the order because the name or address does not match. So I will take the money that would have went to this company and take it elsewhere. This company needs to get there mess together. And to the guy that gave 5 stars you must work for this bad company because your the only one that gave such a review. Something for nothing hah.

All orders are subject to credit card authorization as determined by the credit card processor. Order placement and receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute final acceptance of an order. An order may be declined after receipt of an order confirmation if there is a discrepancy, and the customer will not be billed unless the product is shipped. Any pending authorizations for this customer’s purchase attempts were reversed. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused the customer. Should have looked up reviews before engaging with this company. Set up auto payments, payments from February to August were credited. I have numerous cards, and one was a victim o identity theft. Someone in CA used it at a **** ***** for a few thousand dollars. Reported, shut down, took a bit for investigation and new card issue, but once i had the new card thought I had moved all payments from the old to the new card. Received an email on 8/21/22 that my credit card had been declined. Tried calling several times but they are only available between 8:30 and 4:30 at the number provided. Received a letter undated (no surprise there with this incompetent company), with a different number stating only available M-Th 8:30 am to 5 pm. I work and am in meetings most of the day. They sent me to collections on 9/20/22 (confirmed with BYL), with no further contact than the August email and undated letter and providing no way to contact them other than during working hours. Found an old email with a way to set up an account. Set up an account but it won't let you pay the past due, it clearly says it will apply only to future payments. So they do everything they can to prevent you from making a payment then send you to collections. Ask for a manager, none on site, have to get a call back. Guy tells well there's an email address if you set up an account. I never set up an account because it was already setup for auto debit. I set one up today, but it was too late. If you have an email address why in gods name wouldn't you put it on the email or letter. Poor, poor business practice all around. I was able to call BYL, made payment in full as money was never the issue, getting hold of these people to make the payment was the issue. Something should be done, an online payment option, extended phone times to call, something. This is ridiculous. Would never deal with them again. Would give zero stars if I could.
