Our home, when built, was required by our township to install a Grinder Pump for sewage. Two years ago it was replaced by IJ Tech Mechanical with a new one. January 23, 2023 it failed. They came out and took it from our residence to "fix the motor" which was under warranty and left us with a loaner pump. We call them constantly asking where our pump is and when they will replace it and take the loaner back. They either won't call us back, send our messages to voicemail or promise they are fixing it and bringing it back the following week. We have not seen them since January 23. Before they left with our pump, we wrote the serial number down to make sure we would be getting our pump back. The serial # is ********, made by *****. IJ Tech Mechanical is supposed to be a reputable company that repairs this pump for *****. As of today March 31,2023, they are letting our messages go to voicemail and not returning our calls. They have basically stolen our pump, and left us with a loaner that we have no idea how old it is or when it will fail!! HELP!!Business response

Thank you for contacting us regarding our customer complaint, and giving us the chance to respond. Positive communications have been ongoing and while our customer has been understandably frustrated with his broken pump, his BBB complaint against our company came as a surprise.
The customer called us on January 23rd for a high level alarm on his grinder pump. This is an emergency, and we visited his home that day. Our technician troubleshooted to determine the pressure switch was in need of replacement. Due to the nature of the emergency, and time it takes to receive the part, we installed a loaner pump at the customer's home, and took his pump back to our shop to make the repairs. We ordered the pressure switch, which came to us in a timely manner.
Our customer's new part was received and repaired on February 3rd. We brought the customer's pump back to his home on February 3rd, reinstalled it, and cycled the pump on. Unfortunately, the high water alarm continued to sound.
Because the repair did not solve the issue, ownership got involved in the process to ensure customer satisfaction. Our owner contacted the vendor for the grinder pump, and spoke with their local technical support. This pump came with a two year warranty on parts only. Because of this stipulation, the vendor would not replace the entire pump regardless of the efforts of ownership. This took quite some time of going back and forth, though we remained in contact with the client through phone calls and text messages. During this process, the client had a loaner pump in good working order free of charge while our company was working in his best interest behind the scenes.
Our vendor picked up the customer's pump from our shop on April 6th for further diagnosis, repair, and testing. The pump was returned to us on April 20th. On the morning of April 21st, the customer's pump was installed, and had full functionality. The customer is happy, the pump is installed, and the bill has been paid.
