The contractor had me sign a contract and verbally agreed to what he would do. He was going to put new floor down in my back mud room and where the floor was messed up just outside that door, 15 ft was put in the contract. He also stated about doing baseboard and trim and told me he would start the next day at 9. He did not show. and came and did 2 hrs of work and just took floor apart. He said he would be back at 9 tomorrow and never showed and said truck trouble and we did not see him 2 more days. However, then when he was working he sent me pictures and said he would need to fix the wall and it would be more money. I told him he was not getting more money and to just fix the floor like the contract stated. He argued with me and cursed at me and saying I was trying to get something for free. He just wanted more money everyday he came. I just wanted my floor fixed to how we agreed on. I also asked him everyday he came where my copy of the contract was and he would never ever give me a copy and said he would. So who knows if he changed it or whatever but he kept telling me, the contract says, the contract says. Tonight he came to do the floor more and wanted more money and I told him when it is done or close to being done ill give you 40 percent. He changes what he is going to do daily and will not give me a copy. He also cursed at me today in my home and on the phone and was very very unprofessional. He does not need to be working with anyone with ripping people off and his temper. He left and would not finish the floor and I gave him 1350 dollars. He said he gave me 1000 worth of tile. However he told me and my boyfriend he found that in a friends cellar who was throwing it away. So that tile did not cost him anything and for him to tell me I have to pay him 1000 for the tile and not fix my floor. He came and did 4 hours of work and kept my 1350 dollars and did not even finish anything. He did not even do half the work!!
