Today was the date of the transaction. They apparently were on site for approximately anywhere from 10am today until 4pm. I was not home while they were onsite but they did have ladders on the roof according to this picture. They claimed to have a crew onsite but I expected them to take longer consider this was a 4250 dollar repair and it only took them a couple hours to fix the issue. Afterwords they rushed into paying even after I told them I would like to take a look at the work in person before payment. When I arrived onsite they said they were not there and that they were on a late lunch break. I have never met anybody from this company in person. I was contacted by them after filling out an angies list report to have contracters reach out to me about my roof repair because water is leaking. This is my first home, and I have not dealt with any scam artists before and I cant help but feel like I am being scammed. I had called my credit card company which is Chase in this case and cancelled my card. I have asked to dispute the charge but it has to be until after the charge is past pending. I paid 4250 for a roof repair but they had only done less than a days work. This is definitely a scam in which he had still took pictures of the roof to make it look like something had been completed. The phone number being used to contact me is ###-###-####. As you can see in one of the photos the address is *** ********** *** *** ******* ** *****. However when you search their website online it says the business is closed and located at 1297 Oakridge Rd, McDonald, PA 15057 with ###-###-#### being their phone number on contact. Additionally I was able to find some terrible reviews on yelp with people that share the same experience as I have. Home advisors states: "We have received a customer complaint about this professional. Until we work through our resolution process this professional will remain unable to be matched with new customers through HomeAdvisor."Initial Complaint

I paid him close to $1200.00 in November of 2021 to come out and repair a leak on my roof. The leak was not fixed the first time and everytime I call to get him back here he either doesn't answer the phone and doesn't return phone calls or gives me excuses why he can't come out. Gave me a 3 year guarantee on the repair and is not honoring it. I want my money refunded.Initial Complaint

agreed to pay 2300.00 to repair leaks in two areas of roof. salesman Paul, assured us that they would be able to repair any and all leaks to save money rather than replacing a 12 year old roof. we were guaranteed that they would come back and fix any and all leaks in the area of the initial leaks for 5 years. the Roof Squad came once and made and attempt at a repair (only did item 4 in contract), not even doing the minimum of what they agreed to do in the contract. the roof leaked and has been leaking since the first rain after repair. after calling Roof Squad, they assured us they would come fix it. that never happened. they never showed up. repeated calls and texts to Roof Squad have been ignored up to this date. in the mean time, one of the leaks caused damage to the ceiling in a room near one of the initial leak areas.Initial Complaint

1. Did not show up on time, causing the day laborers he hired and paid in cash to need to work late. My wife was recovering from surgery. 2. Claimed to be an Owens-Corning certified installer. I called them - they never heard of this company. And, apparently neither did the BBB (even though they claim to be in business for 41 years) 3. Tore off the roof for a low price, only to gouge me for money the rest of the time. Once the roof was off and I could not afford to put my wife through much more, he told me how I needed a brand new sub-roof at the cost of 12,000 dollars. He told me they could just leave, if I wanted (with my roof off already). He had me in a bad position and decided to make as much money as he could off of me. 4. Even after gouging me for the sub-roof, he called me outside less than 2 hours later and demanded another 2,000 dollars, which I would not pay. 5. There is no way in the time they spent at my house that they did everything they said they would. They were here a day and a half. I've asked a dozen other roofers and they agreed that he must have cut corners in some way to get done that quickly.
