We hired Levi (LCW Property Services) to do a few jobs in our home. He was paid accordingly. We had an issue with a fan that he installed that wasnt working correctly and called him to come and get it fix and he refused to come back to fix it. When asked for his business licenses and insurance failed to present them to us. He also installed a beam on a load bearing wall, which we believe its not under code.Business response

To whoever it may concern, in response to **** *******'s complaint. **** had mentions 2 issues my work, a support beam that supposably wasn't right and a light fixture that was said to be put together wrong. As far as a permit and getting beam inspected, I had mentioned about this to **** before we started because of the hassle included. **** said he wanted a smaller contractor to do everything at a cheaper price, so I took on the work. **** didn't want to do everything including permits and what not trying to save money and being cheap. As far as the ceiling fan, everything had worked the day I left or i don't think I would have been paid, they agreed it was just fine. Same thing with the beam everything was fine when we were doing it there was no issue stated until after finishing work or we wouldn't have completed it or been paid. I spoke with a framer that I had previously worked for, and he said things were above and beyond just wasn't sure without inspection in the area. All the other work he mentioned in his complaint had no other issues, not sure why its stated. When **** asked for a receipt, I was in the hospital and told him the deal when I got out. I had no issues giving a receipt and resolving the issue until he started bad mouthing me. **** signed a contract at the beginning stating what we would be providing work wise. In my contract I mentions all work being completed and the prices for all. Also stating that all prices are subjected to change for unforeseen tasks. **** seemed to have an issue with me from the beginning so not sure why he continued with me. I was just completing the work I had promised. I wasn't 100% aware on the licensing deal, looking into it all as I am a beginning contractor. My prices for the work were only lower because of other work that was supposed to be provided. The other work is where my profit came, so I lost out not getting the tasks in the contract. I recently contacted **** to try and resolve the issue got ignored with no response. The issues in his statement are not what they seem and would've been resolved if he asked before finishing the work. I personally as a contractor do anything I can to make a happy customer plus fix my mistakes. I have no issues resolving these things!Thank You,
