  First of all, this company provides no evidence that they are the authorized tax collector. Second, even though I paid for the 2021 school taxes I received a distraint for delinquent taxes notice which I don't understand why it was sent to me. There is no explanation of the math they provide and I cannot tell where the numbers are coming from. They sent no prior notification whatsoever for all this time even though they had my contact information, address, etc. and now I received a delinquent tax notice 5 days after it was issued. Now I'm given 10 days to act on, which I will.

  The tax was paid after the current tax was due so there was charges for being late.  The payment made did not cover all charges and a bill was mailed to the address on file.  The bill was mailed 7/1/2021 and was due 12/31/21 but did not receive payment until February of 2022 making the payment late.  We are hired by the School and all notices reflect it is for **************Township School District.

  This company keeps sending mail to my girlfriends house. And I've never resided in Susquehanna Township. My Girlfriend lives their. And how they assosiated my name with that address I don't have a clue.

  It's possible the Township picked the taxpayer up on tax rolls due to a variety of reasons.  However, if do not reside there, we just need them to contact the School District or send proof of Non Residency and taxes will be removed.

  Received a *********** township school district 2022 personal tax notice from this company but I have paid state/local tax on prior to tax day. I try to access their website to see why I owe taxes and the website provided on the notice is non existent. No one answers the phone number provided. I believe this is a scam but unable to get any evidence and do not want to have a delinquent tax affect my credit score.

  Living in *********** Township, every individual has a personal tax to pay out of pocket.  They are mailed every July 1 and you can contact your School District to verify the tax.  The website was down for a day due to technical issues but has been fixed and is up and running.

  10/19/21 I received a distraint for delinquent tax payment, saying taxes were delivered to my address 10/11/21. These are taxes for 2020 for ***** County. 1. I do not live in ***** county and have not since 2018. 2. I have 0 income, I haven't had income since 2018. 3. I live in Philadelphia and am current with taxes in the county I ACTUALLY live in. The further I've looked into it, the more I realize that JP Harris scams and harrasses people. Calling them is useless, no one picks up and they tell you its the busy season well if you have enough free time to send me taxes I do not owe, you're not too busy to answer the phone. My name is also spelled incorrectly so Im completely questioning the legitimacy of this 20 day reminder notice. They've told me to respond by 12/07 and I guarantee I wont get an answer by them. Please help me end this unjustified harassment that so many others are dealing with as well.

  We are the delinquent collector for the Area of ***** County.  If a taxpayer moved out and does not contact the courthouse, they continue to be on the tax rolls.  If this tax is not paid when it is current, it is turned over to us to try and collect.  All information given to us is from local tax collectors and we are hired to try and collect the debt.  If the debt is not valid due to being a Non-Resident, the taxpayer must contact the courthouse of area being billed and be taken off tax rolls or send proof on Non-Residency to JP Harris.  There are many simple ways to have these taxes taken care of especially in not residing where being billed, but it is up to the taxpayer to be in communication with local courthouse and local tax collector.  Again, we are just the collector who received the information from the County, Township, Borough, or School we are collecting for.
