in Jan of 2025 I was pricing - a GE French door model at 3 locations and on line at others- the sales price was $1799.99 at every site- Lowes / ********** and Best Buy - I had two quotes and the only difference was about $5.00 in delivery - I spoke at length with a salesperson aobut the delivery service - I indicated what I wanted sone and the person told me that there would be no problem with **** - to delivery/ move my kitchen refrigerator/ to basement and haul away the basement item. I was told it would not be a problem at ****- I returned to **** / discussed the delivery etc again / I was told there was no problem with my request- so I selected **** based on oral agreement - I bought the appliance with that understanding/ I then called for delivery date on or about Feb 20/ I reviewed my request again - a third time and he was in agreement with the terms- the next day I got a phone call from the sales person stating that NOW i had to pay an additional $75! since I had already bought the appliance and had set up the delivery - I was in no position to refuse the demand - so I agreed to pay this extra ********* my opinion the sales person "padded" my cost- he promised 3 times to agree to the delivery terms moving the refrigerator to the basement at no additional cost - then at the last minute - added $75 - using his dispatcher for the extra charge! all I want is my money back for the added cost

On November 22, 2023, **** Appliance, a ***** Appliance Company affiliate, delivered and installed a KitchenAid dishwasher I had purchased from them a week earlier. The installation was marred by a series of unprofessional and substandard workmanship issues. The installer, ***********************, cracked my kitchen cabinet during the removal of the old dishwasher. He said he would fix it "when things died down," demonstrating a lack of urgency and disregard for my property. Throughout the installation, ***** exhibited an unprofessional demeanor characterized by constant sighing, blaming my "small kitchen cabinet" for installation difficulties, and his assistant's use of vulgar language under his breath.Furthermore, ***** charged me an additional $160 to install a water valve that promptly began leaking after he left. Upon further inspection by a qualified plumber, it was discovered that the dishwasher drain hose was not installed correctly, increasing the risk of wastewater backflow. Additionally, ******* use of a "Sharkbite" T-connector, considered unprofessional and only suitable for temporary use, further highlighted the substandard quality of his work.Despite my prompt efforts to address these concerns with ***'s Appliances, including an in-person visit and emails to *****************, the sales representative, no satisfactory resolution has been reached. On November 29th, I received a text message instructing me to contact ***** directly to discuss the repair of my cabinet. This was despite my clear communication to ****/***'s Appliances that I was uncomfortable with ******* presence in my home due to his unprofessional conduct and substandard work.I am formally requesting that ***** Appliances:Send a qualified individual to repair my damaged cabinet.Refund me the $160 I paid for the faulty plumbing work performed by ************************I expect a prompt and professional resolution to this matter.
