      I met with Re- bath on 5/31/2024 to inquire about the installation of a shower in my home. They showed me the products they offer, and I found one that I liked. I made the mistake of paying for the full amount of the service on that date even though I'd heard stories about dishonest contractors. Although the salesman stated that Re-Bath stated offers an interest- free payment plan for 2 years (which is what I wanted to do) this salesperson stated that he was not able to access the documents that I would need to sign for that plan on his tablet, so he said that he needed payment that day. He pretended to look for the documents for several minutes and then told me that I had to pay for the full amount at that time. Unfortunately, I did give the full amount of $11016 at that time. Since that date I have had no communication from Re-bath. So, I have called them several times and have only been able to speak to the receptionist. That person was unable to provide me with any information and told me that she would have the manager call me back. That never happened either. Re-bath will not speak with me or return any of alls, so Im asking for assistance from the BBB. I am the victim of fraud by Re-Bath. They have taken $11016 and have not provided the service they agreed to, so I would like restitution so that I can find a reputable company to complete the repairs.

      I have called service finance now three times and the contractor twice. I have not gotten an answer from the contractor. And was told my situation would be looked into by service finance but no one has reached out to me. I was told my monthly payments would be no more than 250 because the amount it was and the terms and i would haveno interestfor a year. I was also told that I didn't have to put any money down when signing the contract. But 2 days later got a call stating I had to put 1,000 dollars down in order to start the process. I got 2 bathroom showers done and the ppl put in the wrong shower designs, which they flip flopped. Not what I wanted nor what I agreed to be paying for. So now I wasn't only lied to about my payment/interest contract but I also didn't get the correct style in he correct bathrooms! I am not satisfied what so ever my contract was originally broken by the contractors and service finance company first and now I'm the one being penalized with all these outrageous monthly fees and bathroom styles I didn't ask for.       This customer did sign a contract with us for two bathrooms.  The total agreed price was $21,500.  This customer financed $20,000 of this amount with Service Finance and there was no down payment collected by Service Finance.  However, the customer still owed the remaining $1,500 to cover the full contract which she paid over the phone with our office.  The terms of the loan from Service Finance are clear at 12.9% for 120 months with a monthly payment of $297.44.  The customer received the loan terms directly from Service Finance.  Additionally, our installers go through all materials with customers prior to installing them in the customer’s home.  We have the checklist where this customer agreed to and initialed the “Wall and base colors, patterns and sizes” as well as signed completion paperwork where the customer signs saying “I agree that this job is 100% complete”.   We do not have any record of this customer calling in reference to any of the stated complaints prior to receiving this BBB complaint.  All documents have been attached to this response.

      We bought the shower in 2017 from Rebath. We had to have the faucet replaced several times. Each time, it gets wobbly from the wall at the spigot area. A Rebath repair man told us that the issue is that the plumbing in our wall doesn't stick out enough for the threading on the spigot to attach tightly, and over time it wiggles enough and strips the threading it has attached to. Rebath installed an incompatible accessory onto our plumbing. When Rebath is contacted that again, it is detaching, Chris L*** at the Cleveland office says "read your warranty paperwork. You have to contact Moen for a replacement. If you cannot do the replacement yourself, hire a handyman,or pay Rebath service and hourly fees." They have sent service contracts charging us for the spigot, stating that we are aware we can obtain free from Moen, plus hourly charges and service fees. We will obtain the piece from Moen ourself, however, that will not solve the problem. The problem is that the threading doesn't have enough to attach to and will loosen itself while stripping from the wall and will again need repaired. The warranty says that anyone doing repairs other than Rebath voids the warranty, yet they are not standing behind the warranty. They want to either charge the customer warranty item fees or have the customer void the warranty. Very poor customer service. We have not had any satisfictory dealings with Rebath. They are atttemping to either take money from customers or not stand behind their product, by advising them to repair items themself that will void the warranty.

      ReBath installed a bathtub 10/25/2022, the reason for the length of time is because we have been in dispute with ReBath trying to reach an agreement, because of the improper install of a drain in our new bathtub it caused a plug, I will explain what was explained to me by the plumber (we have documentation from the plumber) the home that the tub was installed is a vacation rental home, our first guests used the dishwasher when it drained, the water it filled the bathtub, I immediately contacted a plumber, he could not make it until 3 days later, upon his inspection he found that the drain was not installed correctly, After he removed the drain the water flooded a section of our finished basement causing the ceiling to collapse. We only wanted restitution of what we had to pay out of pocket, which was $2,500, they wanted to pay us a $1,000 and make a commitment no to leave a bad review. If not resolved, we have informed ReBath we will be sending to our local Magistrate and will be going after more restitution.
