On September 5, 2021, I purchased a Lazy Boy recliner. The recliner was delivered on Jan. 2022. There were defects in workmanship. They sent a furniture repairman to my house and he determined that the chair needed to be repaired. A month later Lazy Boy sent the repair parts to my home. I never heard back from them. I called their customer service department several times but was not able to get through. I sent an Email to the company and was given case # ***********. I have since tried several times to get through to customer service with no luck.Initial Complaint

I purchased a recliner chair on April 5, 2022. In June, I stopped in the store due to the massage unit of the chair being felt thru the fabric. When compared to the one in the store it was not the same and the salesperson stated that should not be. Service was called and he stated this was not right, A new insert was ordered and installed. The issue still did not resolve, service came back out. He acknowledged again that this was not right and suggested to change out the back of my chair with one that did not have the heat and massage. He didn't see a reason why this couldn't be done as I cannot have the massage unit sticking out hitting us in the back. After another wait and another trip to the store, he called and said that management will not allow it as it voids the warranty. I stated that I would sign an agreement that the warranty was voided and they said that cannot be done. I have called comfort care numerous times and have spent numerous hours on the phone on hold. The last call to comfort care I was basically told that nothing can be done and to "get used to it!" I have had a compression fracture at L1 and L2, and can provide proof, and the massage unit hits you right in the back by the kidneys. It is basically like putting a metal box on the floor and laying on it. After my last attempt with comfort care, the manager of the store came out to inspect the chair. She agrees that it is not right and is wiling to exchange the chair with the one on the showroom as my chair is spotless and looks brand new. I then called to ask for the regional manager and was informed they "don't have any!" My last attempt was to call another store who took the information to pass onto their boss and still no word. I have not asked for any money back. I simply want to exchange the chair for one WITHOUT heat and massage. My chair cost over $2300.00 and I am sure one WITHOUT heat and massage would be cheaper.
