I On 12/20/2023 I paid in full for 14k gold earrings, total was $650.00. Returned to the store to request an appraisal for insurance purposes. Was then advised it would be an additional $120.00 to $150.00. My wife ***** went to the store January 5th 2024 and was told there was no manager and the employees did not know his name one of them to her he would be there in 2 hours. She called 2 hours later and was told try in an hour, one hour later was to try again. This time she asked for corporate phone number which they said they did not know or the parent company info. She asked who signs your pay check they did not know. No where in the store was there signage stating appraisals must be sent to New York and the consumer would be billed. In my opinion they may not be selling the quality of merchandise that they claim.

07/15/2021 I bought 10k diamond male band from them. They claim. It was brand new but it was used piece of jewelry some traded in. I thought I was buying it brand new. Until 15 days later a diamond fell out. Then a month later another fell out . So I took it back to tell them I need it fixed or exchanged . The owner refused to help me saying there was nothing he can do about it . So I started recording so I can have evidence of what was going on. The man ran up on me & Im pregnant as if he was going to attack me . I never once got disrespectful or loud to deserve such bad treatment. All I wanted was to get my ring fixed or exchanged which he refused to help me with . After selling my someone used jewelry with loose diamonds. People come in trade the rings all the time . I know this because I exchanged my wedding ring for a upgrade. But he clearly lied to my face saying all the jewelry they sell is new & not used. Meanwhile the have my old ring sitting in the case. Dear ******** ******, The Better Business Bureau, and the involved client,

Gold-n-Diamonds is emailing in regards to a complaint ID'd ********. The specific content of
      the complaint states, "Selling Practices."

GND sold the client, as mentioned earlier, a new "10k White Gold Men's Diamond Band", we
give no guaranteed warranty on items that break while in the customer's possession. As the
customer mentioned, GND sold the band in good condition, and stones fell out within their
possession. When the client came in to discuss how the issue of the band damaged while in
their possession should be dealt with, GND offered to repair the missing stones and fix the
scratches on the band free of charge as the customer was very distressed about it. The client
came in and began to engage very loudly and aggressively in conversation with the manager of
this store. The manager tried to explain to the customer that the request to receive a
completely new ring in exchange for the one damaged in her possession is entirely
unreasonable and a course of action the client would never accept from any reasonable jewelry
store. It is relevant to mention that GND did not falsely advertise anything, and we would still be
open to repairing the band free of charge.

Once the customer realized they were not going to receive a brand new band, they started using very harsh foul language with the employees and the manager of the store. After
intimidation and swearing did not yield any solution suitable to what the customer wanted, they
began to throw around signs, knock over various objects in the store, and take pictures of us as
another intimidation tactic. This behavior is, without even saying, clearly very child-like. We have a no-pictures no-video policy at this store as we believe if a customer comes in, they must come in to purchase merchandise and may record videos and take pictures after purchase.

When she began damaging store property, we asked her to leave as, at that point, they had
become a danger to the other merchandise and the employees in the store. We have multiple
witness accounts of what occurred and are finding her baseless intimidation tactics tiring. If the customer felt intimidated at all, it was unwarranted and uncalled for. Once she began damaging property and harassing us, we asked her to leave, and the only threat we gave her was to call
mall security or the local police. The claim BBB's client made that she "never once got
disrespectful or loud" is a blatant lie.

Furthermore, the complaint that the customer was contacted on social media by the store
manager is genuine. However, there was no cause for any concern as this contact was
established as an attempt to reach an amicable agreement and let cooler heads prevail. It was a
reminder that we offered to fix the band free of charge even though she showed a very
unprofessional and utterly disrespectful attitude towards us.

Once again, we would like to reiterate the point that we would be willing to fix the band free of
charge even though the conduct displayed by the customer was one we believe no other
business deserves or should have to endure.

      Sincerely,
      Gold-N-Diamonds
