Purchased a used vehicle from Blaise Alexander of Greencastle 2 years ago. Purchasing the vehicle was a smooth experience. However, here we are 2 years later, with a vehicle that has a blown engine. Not much we can do now since they recently sold this dealership. Yes, I understand we purchased a used vehicle. But, you would think it would last longer than 2 years. Now I understand why they sell so many cars! Selling junk to people that trust them. Never again will I purchase from them or recommend them! Shame on you Blaise!Review from Robert K

They stymie competition on Cars.com by offering the highest values. Since they artificially inflate offer values, they are all you get directed to on Cars.com. You only get one offer - Their. But they offers are unfair business practices and it is a ************* scam. They do not intend to come close to honoring their instant offer. In my case, the offer was reduced from $ 5900 to $ 3425. Almost half. And I drove 2 cars, 97 miles each way. Avoid at all costs.UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES - UNFAIR COMPETITION - BAIT - N - SWITCH.Review from Mark W

I bought a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, within 2 weeks I called 7 times trying to get assistance with repairs. There's a bad leak somewhere, back seats get wet, ABS are on, calipers are grinding, and NO ONE wants to address these issues. We get the run around every single time we call, Blaise says their call us back, BUT NEVER DOES! Customer service is horrendous, the one lady actually hung the phone up, after I was explaining the situation. Very very rude.! We ask repeatedly to talk to managers, but theirs no one available, or they tell us again someone will call but NEVER DO! The salesman who sold us the truck lied, and ignores our calls. He claims that Blaise does this inspection for all used vehicles that that go thru this point check list, haha. THEY DONT!!!!. If they did what I was told, then they would SEE AND NOTICE, WETNESS IN BACK SEAT CALIPERS GRINDING. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS, NEVER EVER WILL BUY ANYTHING THROUGH BLAISE AGAIN!!!!!×Review from Kenneth B

I bought a vehicle from Blaise Alexander Jeep in Mansfield and in 5 1/2 months the motor went. they had me fill out papers twice because they didn't wait for other banks to send offers in and then rushed them through paperwork. I dont remember them offering an extended warrenty even though they say they did. Then the salesman showed frustration when asked questions about the vehicle or what he told me to sign. Took it back several times after a week and they tried charging me for the parts that were under warrenty. I had to argue for then to look it up and not charge for what should be covered. Then 2 weeks after the warrenty goes the shift linkage went in the transmission. Then 2 months after the warrenty ended it had more issues. Changed coil packs and spark cause that's what it said was wrong when I ran the check engine light codes. So I took it back to the dealer and they tell me $99 to diagnose the issue. then they say $500 more for a deep diagnostic. I called to find out the results and then they tell me the motor needs replaced and the new diagnostic fee is $1700. And it will be around 8 to 9 grand to replace the motor in a vehicle they sold me less then 5 1/2 months ago. The district manager said they would try to work with me and try to get things dropped in price some. But the only discount they offered was 120 for labor instead of 160. And when asked what they would give just to take the car back they said it wouldnt be plausible to trade in due to the value of it. Feels like I was lied to on more then one occasion with them. to the point I even wonder if they did a full diagnostic before selling this vehicle. I have gone with my sister to dealerahips to purchase vehicles and this is by far the WORST. You spend $17,000 on a car all to have it go in 5 1/2 months and end up being useless. I could have paid less at a junkyard for a car to just sit in my driveway. The point of buying from a dealership is to purchase a reliable car. Not scrap metal.Review from Joshua K

I, much like other reviewers, find my first and last experience with the Mansfield agency tainted with manufactured problems with my tradein and overall dishonesty. The negotiations continued with a very respectful gentleman, Hunter, which culminated in an agreement of terms by telephone ( I live an hour and a half away) shortly before 8pm on Friday, January 19. On this date, January 20, at 11:13 I received a call from Hunter with the news that the negotiated agreement was determined to be invalid by an unknown employee and that the vehicle for which I negotiated in good faith had been sold to a different customer this morning. Except for Hunter, my opinion is that this team lacks integrity. Don't waste your time with group.Review from Su S

I bought a 2024 equinox, currently has 100 miles. Was 10 when purchased but 3 trips back to dealer..., took 3 weeks to get part for rear bumper, and pick up tags that my husband had to install, b/c I live in md and no service techs available to put front tag on..., "MY CHEVROLET" not working and no phone connection, and STILL waiting on referral check...I have contacted dealer several times and got car salesman excuses. I will NEVER purchase from Blaise Chevrolet again!Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships Response

We spoke with Su Stine, apologized for the inconvenience in waiting for the parts which were on delay. She will receive her bird dog that has been mailed and does not need any more assistance from the dealership. Thank you, Jerry C****Review from Frank C

BUYER BEWARE !!! This Dealer E-Mailed me a Quoted Price, And Then INCREASED the E-Mail QUOTED PRICE BY $8000.00 ( $3000 on a "misquoted" Trade-In, and $5000 on a "NEVER OFFERED" DOWN PAYMENT !!! ), all occurring AFTER I drove over an hour each way to purchase a 2021 White RAM POWER WAGON from their lot. To Boot: While There, They Stole My Custom RAM License Plate Trim Plate, from what was to be my trade-in, and Replaced It with one of those CHEAP BLACK PLASTIC Alexander Advertising Trim Plates !!! My daughter will NEVER buy a car or go to Blaise Alexander Subaru again! She just took her car in for inspection (not to Blaise Alexander) and was told she needed a new lower control arm. This part was supposedly replaced by Blaise Alexander in 2020. The life span of this part is between 90,000 and 100,000 miles so to need this part again after only 3 years is very unlikely. When she called Blaise Alexander service department they told her their warranty on that part is only 1 year. When the repair shop replaced the part, they said it was so rusted that it looked like it had NEVER been replaced. And their warranty on that part??? LIFETIME! because it is not typically a part that needs replaced more than once. We have been loyal customers of Blaise Alexander, but we may have to re-think that. If I can't trust that they are doing what they are charging me for, then I will go to someone I can trust.Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships Response

Hi Kelly I reviewed your daughters account, and it looks like we last serviced her 2016 Subaru forester on 12-7-2020, unfortunately we haven’t seen the car back since 2020. The service work that had been performed in 2020 by the dealership was (lower control arm bushings) you had mentioned that you needed to have the (lower control arm) replaced this would be two separate items the control arm wasn’t replaced by the dealership’s service department . If you would like to reach out to me at your earliest convenience, I would be happy to review both your old invoice for 2020 and your current invoice from the inspection station to compare what was done on both dates. Most parts come with a 12-month warranty with unlimited millage this a standard warranty from most manufacturers. I have attached my direct number if you would like to discuss further.
