At On-Budget Contracting we do our best to accommodate all requests of services and to the best of or abilities. With customers approvals and suggestions along the way. With full respect and understanding we are walking into a customers private home and make it our job site, a dynamic that doesnt exist in most business to customer transactions. As a business we also have to assist customers in understanding what is on a written agreement not only confirms services to be performed but confirms time in witch services are to be performed. If a customer makes a request after a confirmed written agreement it should be understood that it will prolong original end dates and estimate needs to be adjusted for additional services. With all details in mind and full responsibility taken on our part we accommodated ***************** and was a accommodated for inconveniences with extra services and a 30% discount on final balance for witch **************** signed off as an confirmed final agreement. Weeks later we went back and serviced any complaints she may have had and took care of them. This will be our first complaint in business. We find it unfortunate but all that can be done at this point is learn from this exchange.

      Customer response

      06/09/2023

The work performed by On Budget was below the standard of quality expected from a licensed contractor.  The work was shoddy and they did not take great care in and around my home.  Construction materials were piled on my deck and driveway resulting in damage.  They denied the damage was a result of their negligence. However, I have it recorded on my security camera. They used the newly installed granite vanity counter as a work station. Throwing the tools on top.  They left the bathroom and garage in  worse shape than before they started the two projects.  The invoice specified all the details and work we wanted for our remodels.  Excuses and delays on there part were given as to why they were unable to provide what was clearly layed out in writing.  For example, the start dated stated 3/10/23 end date stated 3/24/23.  The ceramic tile installation was not started until 3/24.  The shower door was supposed to be ordered. My husband inquired on 3/15 and 3/23, the owner **** ***** advised he was still looking into it.  There was absolutely no excuse other than the owner was stalling because he did not have anyone contracted that was capable and skilled enough to do the install. He installed the tile throughout the bathroom knowing he did not have the skills. This resulted in uneven and unleveled tile and grout that stuck out.  We continue to have problems as a result and he will not return to redo the work. We got an estimate from a contractor recommended by ****** ****.  To correct all the mistakes On Budet made and correctly install the tile, it will cost my husband and I $16,800.  On Budget should truly be held accountable. I took pictures and video throughout the project when we began to have issues as proof of there negligence.  No one should have to go through this.
Never let them in your home.

      Sincerely dissapointed
