Got a used 2017 Chrysler parifica van from them, had nothing but issues with it since. When got there was a check engine light on, they said they would take care of it before we purchased right. So they sent it to the garage and got the light turned off because soon as we made the transaction and left the light came back on so we took it back, they had for 3-4 days told us its good to go. The headgasket went in it, was in the garage for over 2 months, get it back still leaking oil, the ****** just went its currently in the garage again, this van has seen the garage more than its been driven. I dont understand but they sold me a **** lemon and I dont know what to do! I took it to #1 ******* and they sent a video of everything wrong and let me you tell yall the fan part in the front been wrong since we got it and they told me I have to pay for it out of my pocket! I dont recommend this place at all, they need shut down! They dont help people they make it worse for everyone! I just want everyone to know so they dont got thru the same c*** I am! I purchased a 2014 Chevy Equinox on 3/10/2023 from this company. Upon leaving the lot with the car, i noticed there was NO emissions sticker, which is REQUIRED in both Westmoreland (shop address) & Allegheny (my address) counties. I was told I would love the vehicle. The very next day, the check engine light came on. I took it to AutoZone - the codes read that it has a bad catalytic converter, which is most likely the reason for its failed emissions. I notified the shop of this code. They told me it was no big deal & as long as the car isnt running bad, its ok. Within 13 days of purchase, on 3/23/23, I had to take it to All-timate Auto Care (the mechanic shop they contract with) because my alternator went & it lost all power. In March, June, & August, I've had it to AutoZone - it has read between 7 and 11 codes each time. Each time since March it has read the same code - bad catalytic converter. I have contacted Advantage Auto NUMEROUS times in regards to these issues and Perry has told me to take it to All-timate or to give them time to talk to the owner (Tom) & to call back. I did & they never spoke with him. On July 7th I made an appointment to get my vehicles' issues fixed (Massive oil leak, camshaft sensors, cat converter, ect) & left it at the shop all day only for them to NOT DO ANY WORK on the vehicle. I filed a report with the Bureau of consumer protection last month as I am extremely frustrated. I do not have a reliable vehicle and it keeps stalling at every stop or idle, it smokes (from oil leak), and it STILL DOES NOT have an emissions sticker on it. I'd like my money back. I put $1,000 cash down and have made 5 monthly payments of $432.41, totaling $3,161.55. I will surrender the vehicle if this loan is paid off and the money refunded. Otherwise, the next step is through legal proceedings. My vehicle also came with a warranty/service contract.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I just now saw this reply. I do NOT have an appointment with the shop nor with the owner, Tom, today. I said I would bring my equinox in to be serviced AGAIN if the check engine light came on (after I paid out $117 for my service contract deductible last week!). The light came on before I even got the vehicle home, which is only 3 miles away. However, I tried to contact the shop since this morning with no answer. I had a medical emergency that needs to be taken care of (proof can be provided if necessary). I called Advantage and spoke to Perry whom told me to give a call to him tomorrow and he will set up a time and day to get my car into Alltimate. But at no time have I ever had an appointment. Also, please inform Tom that I've only put 8k miles on this vehicle (not sure why that matters!) & that maybe he should get his numbers right before he starts talking crazy to his customers. Thank you.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

I STILL do not have an emissions sticker on my vehicle or have received a refund and am now stuck with a hefty car loan. I would like to know what my options are & WHY I was sold a vehicle without an emissions sticker that was REQUIRED in that county and mine. I believe that this company KNEW the car needed a catalytic converter which can be extremely expensive for just the part alone! My service contract also will NOT cover anything required for emissions...I find that a little coincidental.  So, I really would like an explanation to WHY I was sold a vehicle that would not pass emissions. Please, I'd like a refund. Thank you

On march 2 2023 I purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain from advantage auto sales at 550 Stevenson blvd new kensington pa 15068. In which I conducted a phone interview with the bank where Perry had a script for me to say to the bank I couldn’t speak with them outside his office which raised red flags. my car has a service air bag warning , the engine light has been on since a week after I got it in which I’ve called multiple times about it and even got it serviced at his car garage the engine is still on , my left front wheel barring is getting ready to break. I spoke with Perry about having to come out of pocket already for a car that I’ve had not even 5 months I’m a mother of 3 and the service air bag light is coming on which means the air bag can deploy at any time which could be fatal to me and my children. I’ve asked to be in a new vehicle as this one is dangerous , and also has 13 codes running an error which I got checked at advanced auto parts. Engine misfire code , camshaft , fuel trim cylinder balance , air injection system incorrect and the list goes on! I understand buyers remorse but this isn’t that. putting me in a safer vehicle knowing there are safety issues with this car would have been perfect or refunding me. this business told me they don’t know what I did to the car and in 4 months there’s no way I’m the cause of these problems. I can’t even honk my horn with the air bag sensors going off and the car is so rusty underneath I’m not surprised the tires seem like their going to fall off. I’ve contacted the attorney generals office as well as my contact in the mayors office this isn’t right I won’t make it about race so I’ll make it about sex - these dealerships think they can do anything to us woman and it’s not fair

I bought a 2016 Ford Fusion there on September 12, 2022. This car broke down 3 times in the past month, only having it for a few months total! The engine light comes on, I get a coolant over temperature warning and the vehicle goes into a limp mode to where it's barely drivable. The vehicle was tied up in their repair shop, All Time At Auto Service located one mile from the sales lot. The owner there deleted the code and attributed the issue to the wheels spinning on icy roads. It was an unusually bad storm the night before, so I just assumed it was fine because I struggled with the car up an icy hill and had to wait for salt trucks. Two weeks later, the same issue occurs. I take it back to the shop a second time which is 45 minutes from me. The car is tied up again for a week. This time they put new coolant sensors in. The car was fine for the next 2 weeks. Just yesterday, Feb. 1st, the exact same thing happens. Advantage obviously did not make sure the vehicle was repaired of any issues before they sold it to me. I saw an engine light even in the pictures on their website before I bought the car. Their salesman, William J****** assured me any issues would be fixed before I bought the car. They obviously cleared codes long enough to keep the engine light from coming on long enough for them to sell the vehicle. It did pass inspection before it was sold, but other issues were temporary "patched up" before they unloaded the vehicle on me
