My 19-year-old Daughter and 3 of her friends booked a 1-week vacation to **************. through Apple Vacations. 2 days before departure there was a CAT 2 hurricane in ***********. My wife decided to call the resort to confirm if any damage was done to the resort. No damage, however, when the resort confirmed my daughter's reservations she was told that she and her friends could not reserve a room at the resort because they were all under 21 years old. I called Apple to confirm this and Apple had no idea of this policy that's been in effect for 3 years at most hotels nationwide. After a few hours, Apple called back and stated they needed to cancel the entire trip and I would get a full refund in 30 days. These kids booked this vacation 5 weeks prior and it was to happen the week before they head back to college. I took off work and spent an additional $1500 to book a hotel in ************** for 5 days so they can have their last summer fun. Not once did Apple contact us to apologies or even offer another destination. Their sales people are American but their customer service is out of the country. Good luck getting anything resolved with them. I strongly advise to not use this company for your travel needs.

I have booked with Apple for *********************************************************************************** part of outsourcing their customer service overseas. On a recently cancelled flight from ******, the company did nothing to try to assist in a rebooking. We were forced to buy a ticket on another airline to get home which cost almost as much as the entire trip. Apple held onto a small fractional refund provided by the airline for 6 weeks before refunding it to our card. They stated the matter was entirely out of their hands and wouldnt even consider giving us a small $100 voucher towards future travel as a sign of goodwill for the many years of being a customer. In todays day and age of being able to book your own travel, cut out the middle man as they no longer provide a service worth bringing them into the loop for.

We booked a trip to **** to meet up with my family for a winter holiday. My daughter got sick at the airport, as we were boarding the plane. To make a very long story somewhat short, Apple did not honor the trip insurance I purchased through them. After hours on the phone, I was able to secure a refund for my hotel and transfers only. I was told I would receive airline credits; however, Apple never canceled my flights, and therefore, the credits were never issued. I was out thousands and wasn't able to spend the holiday with my family. To get anything rectified, you will spend hours on the phone with very little help. I would NEVER book a trip through them again. The rest of my family were able to travel and said it was a nice experience, but I will never book through them again.

Do not use Apple Vacations! I had a trip planned through them thinking they were a reputable company and I was so wrong. My boyfriend had a heart attack 2 weeks before our vacation. I had a chat session with their representative and asked about my options. She recommended that I cancel the vacation and take the travel credit. I asked if I could change the person to my sister and she recommended against that as it would cost more and again reiterated that I should cancel and take the travel credit. I did what the Apple Vacation representative told me to do and then they came back and said I get no travel credit because it was less than ************************************************************************************************* travel credit. I've requested a copy of the chat transcript to prove fraud against this company and they refuse to provide it to me. Please do your research, Apple Vacations is not a reputable company. I wish I had done more research before booking with them.

I am very disappointed in Apple Vacations. My sister and I booked our trip to ******* on 10.18.2023 . This was three full months before our planned departure on 01.19.2024. My sister lives in ******* and I live in *******. We were both on a conference call when it was booked. The representative took two separate credit cards for each of our amounts due. It was very clear that we were flying separately and meeting in *******. On 01.17.2024 we both tried to check in for our flights. I was successful, but my sister, was not because my name was on her airline ticket! Apple Vacations had me flying from ******* and ******* on the same day!! After several hours on the phone with ***************** we were told that no changes could be made and that we must CANCEL our trip!!! We were also told that we needed to wait 5 to 7 days for a travel credit! Now, we had taken vacation time at work and had a dog sitter scheduled. The next day, on 01.18.2024, I called and spoke with a Representative who agreed that this was Apple's ERROR. I was on the phone for one hour and ten minutes trying to get a cash refund and was told he would escalate it and someone would call back within 24 to 48 hours. On 01.20.2024, after no response from Apple Vacations, I called my credit card company and filed a dispute! I advised my sister to do the same. I was not going to accept a travel credit after Apple ruined our vacation. Thank God, our credit card company is reputable and honored our request expediently (unlike Apple Vacations who doesn't even respond to their customers). I never heard back from Apple Vacations. I never received one phone call from Apple Vacations. I always had to follow up and beg for information. On 03.21.2024, I called Apple Vacations and after 45 minutes on the phone, she basically gave me an email address. I did email them and after 3 weeks with NO response, I am writing this review on BBB. Do not book through Apple Vacations! Go elsewhere.

Best price guaranteed was not honored. With insurance purchased. Several attempts made to contact by phone and email. No resolution I also drove to the address listed on all websites. Believe its a mock office. Waited for hours no one ever there for service. A price adjustment shouldve have been received due to package purchase being advertised for less. Not satisfied at all after bring a return customer for over 15 years

I submitted a request to cancel a all inclusive trip in writing ahead of the deadline but when I finally spoke to someone, they would not agree to refund or credit! I would have happily taken a credit or even a partial credit for a future trip. Now I will never use Apple Vacations again!

ZERO STARS if that was a option. Apple Vacations provided a Horrible experience. Do not book with them. March of 2 2023 we scheduled a family trip with seven other families to Cancun with the stay being at Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites. Our son got very sick and ended up at the hospital. We had booked our vacation through Apple Vacations; this is not typical for us but since we were traveling with a large group it was the easiest way. Apple vacations gave zero help and in fact wasted so much time giving us the runaround repeatedly with conflicting messages and promised callbacks. We needed to extend our trip one day because our son was too sick to walk let alone fly, they told us there were no flights for two weeks. We went online and found several flights and ended up booking our own flights home. They were no help at all with the hotel or airline! Being in another country with your sick child is stressful enough but the lack of empathy or help was astonishing especially since our group in total spent $56k in total reservations. The hotel wanted to help us but was locked into what Apple Vacations had booked. When we got back to MN we tried to square up with Apple Vacations but they were absolute A Holes. I will never book with them and will tell others to book directly to the hotel or use another agency. The hotel was amazing and the help there did their best to accommodate us. Apple Vacations is a true SCAM!

My wife and I purchased an Apple Vacation package and the Travel Protection Plus plan whereby its literature states: “MEDICAL EXPENSES-Reimburses medical costs up to $50,000 should you incur hospital charges or other medical bills as a result of an illness or injury during your vacation.” The day after we arrived at our Dominican Republic resort I suffered a heart attack and paid over $16,000.00 (U.S. dollars) in hospital bills. On January 23, 2023 (nine days after my heart attack), I filed my original claim for reimbursement and have received nothing. As of this date (over ten months later) I have received no reimbursement. All we get is stall, stall, stall! My wife and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law and two young grandchildren, departed on our Apple Vacations trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on January 13, 2023 and were supposed to return on January 18, 2023. The following day in Punta Cana I developed chest pain and excess sweating and was taken to the resort’s medical center and it was confirmed that I was having a heart attack (myocardial infarction). An ambulance was summoned and I was transferred to the Bavaro Hospital about forty-five minutes away. In the emergency room my BP, EKG and ECG was taken and a blood clot prevention medicine (TPA) was given to me. After a pre-payment of requested funds (approx $18,000.00) I was transferred to the intensive care unit. I was in the hospital for two days. Because it was a small (28 rooms) hospital, they were not equipped to perform a needed cardiac catheterization/angioplasty procedure so I was transported via Air Ambulance (thru my American Legion Emergency Assistance Plus Program) to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where they performed the necessary procedure. I paid for the Travel Protection Plus plan (Trip Mate, Inc), had a valid claim and have not been reimbursed. Trip Mate's states nothing in their about submitting claims to your regular insurance first. BAD DEAL!
