Our H.O.A. hired *************** to replace the roofs in our townhouse development. These young men have been here for the second phase which included my home. The young men have worked so hard and never stopped due to the extreme heat and humidity. They all were very respectful and covered all the shrubbery and our decks while they were working. The clean up was very thorough including driveways, decks and front porches. Was very satisfied with the Fedale team and Chris S***** was exceptionally helpful to deal with, respectful, informative and true to his word in fixing any concerns. I was very pleased with the entire crew, how they handled themselves and the materials. Fedale is an excellent company to have for projects to be handled well and satisfactorily.Review from Barbara C

G. Fedale was contracted by our HOA which at first I was cautious as to the quality of the company. We had to trust our board with this choice. We have lived here 4 years and I had the roof patched 3 times, so we had a problem roof, but I was afraid with replacing skylights, that didn't leak, I was opening a pandora's box. I have to say, my husband and I are very satisfied with the new roof and our skylights. The crew doing the job worked well together and they were careful to cover our deck and to clean up after themselves. I would like to thank Chris, the supervisor for the job, for answering our questions, no concern was too small.Review from Marie D

This company did such a nice job in our community. They worked hard every day, cleaned up, answered any questions that I had and they were joyful and pleasant. And pleasant. Would highly recommend this company for all of your roofing needs.Review from Meredith C

-Premium prices, subpar workmanship. GFedale charged us top dollar and delivered **********-quality work. -Poor communication & job oversight/management, quality control issues from start to finish. Sloppy, unfinished-looking work, multiple repairs needed already, several still outstanding. -They installed a cheap, damaged scupper box (dented & buckled at the seams) in our wooden soffit. They had to cut out an opening to install it but didn't seal/repair it afterwards. Just left wide-open gaps in the exposed wood that water, bugs, etc can get in. Complete hack job. -Project manager got rude and defensive when we started questioning why things were done a certain way (wrong, cheaply). Straight-up ghosted us for weeks while we were waiting for them to come back to fix a leak on a roof they replaced. Also refused to show us photos of a completed roof until the cert. of completion was signed. Ended up crawling out on the roof & taking pictures myself. Wasn't the first time either; my 70+ year-old mother had to do the same on another roof. We contracted with G Fedale in 2022 for multiple roof replacements and repairs, chimney rebuild, new drainage system on our main roof. The works. Their estimate was much higher than others (~28k total) but winter was approaching and we were at our wit's end. We had been struggling with water problems and needed the job done right. We were assured Fedale was best able stop the leaking and deliver quality workmanship. We accepted all of their recommendations. Even let them talk us into a chimney rebuild, which we didn't think was necessary. Fast forward to today: still have water problems and the quality of workmanship delivered is far below what we expected. There has been one problem after another; it’s been like pulling teeth trying to get honest feedback or find out what’s going on and what is going to be done about it. The search for quality, professional, and trustworthy contractors continues.Review from Mary W

Hired G. Fedale to replace a roof over roof, frustrating experience. Pros Competitive pricing / scheduling On-time Cons Minimal to no oversight of subcontractors Reuse of damaged materials instead of replacement - Subcontractor thew away skylight flashing and were directed to recover from the dumpster and bend back into share Damage done to tree when dropping off the dumpster Dumpster moved to the street causing curb damage - No remedy offered after five (5) months of follow-up Do not recommendReview from Larissa M

I hired G. Fedale in July 2021 to renovate the entire exterior of my house including a new roof, new siding, new exterior stone masonry, new gutters and downspouts. I contracted with them to do the entire exterior work specifically so they can coordinate proper sequence, scheduling and proper fitment of all the materials together. It has been 18 months since G. Fedale started the renovation, and their horrible workmanship has created many serious problems, here are just a few of them: •The new roof G. Fedale installed now leaks in 3 areas. •It took G. Fedale four months just to start the roof installation leaving the bare wood roof sheathing exposed to the weather. This resulted in massive flooding in the house, 6” of standing water in the crawl space that now developed into a serious mold problem. •It took them almost a year to complete the siding work and house stood exposed to elements, preventing the finishing of the interior work. •First G. Fedale ran out of siding material, than they ordered the incorrect size siding to complete the work delaying the job for 9 months. •The dumpster truck that G. Fedale hired ran into and damaged the existing Belgium stone border in my driveway and G. Fedale refused to repair it. The biggest problem is that the roof now has multiple leaks. As a result of roof leaks I have drywall damage, wet insulation and potential structural wood damage . The roof leaks have developed into a very serious mold problem in my house. I had an independent mold remediation company come out last week and they confirmed that the mold problem is caused by the leaks in the roof. The mold has now severely affected my health and I am now unable to work and unable to live in the house. I have significant medical expenses due to mold toxicity and mold remediation. Mold cross contaminated new duct work, new registers and diffusers. I want the G.Fedale to pay for all the problems that they caused and for my medical expenses and mold remediation.Customer Response

on 1/25/2023 G.Fedale replied: We, as a contractor, were provided with inaccurate blueprints by the customer for a home renovation project. This led to a shortage of materials and caused delays in the project due to supply chain issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, we did not charge the customer extra for the materials. The customer later raised concerns over leaks in the home, which we investigated and found to be unrelated to the work we had performed. We shared evidence of this, including pictures and videos, with the customer. Despite maintaining open communication throughout the project, the customer refused to pay the final bill and threatened to damage our reputation if we pursued legal action. We are now working with our attorney to collect the payment owed and protect our reputation here...Customer Response

As of today 01.30.2023: 1. The roof that G. Fedale installed leaks. It has been leaking since day one and it has been leaking now for 15 months. 2. The leaking roof has caused a serious mold problem in the house. 3. The mold problem caused by the leaky roof has made me very sick. 4. I am incurring extensive medical and mold remediation expenses.Review from George W

Over a year ago, G Fedale was recommended for roofing and windows. Over a year later, we are just finishing. Materials left all winter in the snow, orders entered incorrectly, absent project manager, broken roof shingles. Horrible communication and poor workmanship plagued this project. People do what they want, but I will never use this company again or recommend them. If I could leave a lower review I would.Review from Friel25

Overall these guys did a good job. The roof looks nice, however they left a lot to be desired. I had asked someone to come out and look at a few of the shingles to nail them down cuz they look like they weren't secure and I was told they would be out to do that and they never came back. I had two dormer windows that protruded out from the roof that were totally left unsealed and it looks horrible. So basically the windows look worse than before. Ruining the whole appearance of the roof. I was contacted by them to fix that issue but they wanted money to do it. I felt like I shouldn't have to pay anything since this was not discussed with me beforehand or after they just left it like it was. If they would have discussed it with me beforehand and we could have worked that into the final price. That's one thing but they never did. I think these guys just wanted to come out, make quick money and get out as I never had any contact with any sort of supervisor throughout the whole day of the roof install. I mean overall it looks nice but definitely a lot of issues for $8,200 that I paid
