Purchased a 2009 ******** *** *** for total of $9,444 on March 9, 2022. The ABS light was displayed on the dashboard. I expressed concern since the vehicle was being sold as-is with no warranty. I was told by the sales manager Dean G***** several times that it was just a sensor and not an expensive fix. The owner/manager, a man named Dino also said the problem was probably just a sensor. When I took the car for service after the purchase the mechanics at ****************** informed me that the problem was more serious -- the ABS module was non functional and needed to be replaced and reprogramed. The cost for a USED ABS Module, including reprograming is more than $1,200, hardly a minor issue as I was assured. Further, when I was detailing the car I discovered that the spare tire was missing. I talked to Dean G***** about this and he assured me that he would find me a replacement. After getting a run around from Dean for 3 weeks I still do not have a spare tire, which is an essential safety factor that every car must have. Hence I ordered a used replacement tire today at a total cost of $137.86. C and B Motors and their Owner/Manager and sales manager were not truthful regarding the car and totally unresponsive regarding the missing spare tire.Customer response

I filed a complaint against C and D Motors on April 1, 2022. Since that time the company was notified by you of the complaint. They contacted me and explained that there was a misunderstanding. They offered to reimburse me $140 for the damages I suffered. I accepted that and it was paid today. Hence, the misunderstanding was speedily resolved by the business to my satisfaction and the complaint is rescinded.
