I was trying to enjoy a bag of Herrs Sour Cream and Onion ripple potato chips when I found what looks like mold in my bag. It looked like an raisin.Business response

Hello BBB,
We reviewed our records on file for ID ******** for a complaint call on July 19, 2022where we were informed of the customer finding “mold” in a bag of Sour Cream & Onion Ripple
Chips. The exact words were “I found what looks like mold in my bag. It looks like a raisin”. We sent out a mail bag to return to us the remainder of the bag and the object in question or pictures of the object so it can be viewed by the Evaluation Team and then be able to reply to the customer of our assessment of the item. We never received the item back or pictures of the item to be evaluated. We waited ample time for the bag to return before replying to the BBB of our assessment. Without the object or pictures of the object we can not successfully determine what the object was. We sent the customer some coupons for free product as a refund. Please advise us of additional steps you wish to see on our behalf to resolve this issue.
