      ******************* from Hallmark of New Jersey came out to give me an estimate for a porch ceiling, which had rotten wood. I asked do you use subcontractor, he said we do our own work. 10/18/22. He gave me an estimate for the porch which needed replacement. He wrote on Lifetime Warranty on the form. 4 men arrived and tore my 2 yr old rubber roof off and torn down the whole porch. I called **************** asking why the roof had to be tore off he stated everything was old. He came out the next day to have me sign another contact because the roof was included. When I ask for a warranty he says he can only give me a 10 yr warranty for the roof they installed and no warranty for the replacement of the whole porch. 12/5/22, I called **************** asking for a warranty and he want me to call the owner. All I want is a warranty for the work that was done.

      After calling Hallmark of New Jersey several times asking about the warranty for the porch and the replacement of the roof. I was told the warranty is in the mail. I received a typed warranty only for the roof and I called and told **************** that the warranty only mentioned the roof. He stated he would have his secretary send another which would include the porch replacement. On 1/5/23, I received a 10 yr. warranty for the porch and the roof.

      Rebuilt Front Porch Approx. Size 19"X8" My porch was poorly completed near the end of December 2021. 3 days after the work was done I called Al, the owner to come out and inspect the job. He said he would but never came. Al then called me latter that week and said he look at the job on the web and he said the job looks beautiful. I told him that is not true. The first issue ******* son the installer put the wrong color and the wrong material on the porch. ******* did not ask me If he could put that in place of the gray which was stated in the contract. Anthony, said his supplier do not make the gray. I called Al, he said to give him a call in the spring of 2022 he will send ******* back out to remove the white and replace it with the gray color which was written in the contract. I called in April Al, said his supplier still do not make the gray color. I ask if he could find another supplier he said he would. I called Al, back two weeks latter nothing was order. Al, ask me to look on line because Anthony, did not know how to find it on line. I told him I would but this is not something a customer should do. I just want to get the job completed. I found two suppliers off the web. I sent by text to Al, and sent the same text to Anthony. I called Al, back in July the gray material was not order. Al, ask me to order it and he will get ******* to complete the job. I said no that is not what I should do as a customer. Al said call him back in a couple of days. I called Al back in two days. Al had many excuses. 1st excuse ******* is in the hospital with Covid and has a bad heart. 2nd excuse it has been too hot. 3rd excuse it will take 2 weeks for the order to come in. I called Al back July 20 again nothing has been order. So now I just want a refund that I paid in full $25,000.00 on May 2022 job is not completed to my satisfaction and what is in the contract. Pictures are available if needed.

      I gave a 7000 dollar check deposit to Neal 3/31/22 for a deck to be built in the back of my son’s home. Guys came dug two holes on April 8,2022 for footing Said ******* and ******* wires needed to be moved. The president of the company Al told me he would call ******* and ******* to do so but, then he told me I had to call them. Finally Al called ******* and the wires were all removed May 10, 2022. ******* came out in April a couple days after they put footing in the ground. Now all I get is a bunch of empty promises on when they will come out and start building the deck. I just want the deck built Or how much of my 7000 deposit I can get back so we can cancel the project and find someone else. Every time he give me a date when they will be coming out something comes up or they have a problem. Now he said they will be out May 24 then he called and said they be out in May 25

      On March 31,2022 **** ***** signed a contract to have a deck built Approximately 10x16 and 8ft. off the ground and a 5 ft sliding glass door from the home to walk out to the deck.  In addition 10x16 aluminum awning to go over deck. After signing our contract our installer went to the job site.  There were ladders & scaffolding on back of the house preventing us from doing any work she she had another contractor brick pointing the back of the house. After 2 to 3 weeks the other contractor had finished,  In addition there was another problem preventing us to proceed.  ******* ******* **** had wirers where the deck would be bolted to the house. I contacted ******* ad spoke to a worker named Chris (###-###-####) he told me he would go out and visit the job site to see what had to be done.  Approximately 1 to 2 weeks he saw the problem and he would assigned ******* Engineers to relocated all the wires that were attached to the back of the house preventing us from building the deck.  In the month of April our contractors installed 42" footings and concrete foundation to support the deck.  Please be advised that the awning manufacturers needed the deck finished before the awning could be made. The awning company was given a deposit to make the awning after the deck was completed.  Please be advised all the complications along with the weather caused the delay.  *** ***** was schedule to proceed with the deck on 04/27.2022.  We received a call this morning 5/27/2022 that her brother died yesterday and would we please postpone the deck until Tuesday 5/31/2022 weather permitting.

      Signed contract with Neal of Hallmark on 8/26/21. Gave deposit of $5000 for stucco work on backyard walls and cement work in backyard and sidewalk. Money was paid to them on 8/27/21 per my bank statement. Was told by Neal work would start in two weeks. Several people came by and looked at the work but was unable to give me a starting date. To date, no work has been done on my property. I requested a full refund of my deposit $5000 and was told by Al the owner, "that's not going to happen". He refuses to refund my money and keeps telling me to be patient and the work will start soon. No starting date has been given. I am a single, senior ******* American and believe I have been taken advantage of and no help from Hallmark. I just want my money back. Frustrated and tired of waiting. ***** *******

      Please be advised that all the work in front of the house was completed.  In the rear of the house the stucco calls for 3 coates of stucco with wire mesh and grey color. 
      I spoke to ***** ******* and told her after the holidays all the work that wasn't completed will be done.

      I am rejecting this response because: I will only accept that the work is completed when it is actually completed. This nightmare has been going on for over 6 months now and I am tired of this company and its extremely poor service to me and yes color is factor no matter what you want to believe or tell yourself.
