      On May 11, 2022, I got a PCR covid test at My Doc Urgent Care's Arch St location. I had a known exposure to covid, so this was one of three tests I received at this location that week. For this test, the receptionist told me that my insurance was inactive and therefore I could not use it. It was very distressing for me to be told that I had lost my health insurance, but I proceeded with the test as I needed to ensure that I wasn't exposing loved ones to Covid. I was charged $199 out of pocket for the test. As it turns out, my insurance was not inactive. My Doc Urgent Care submitted a claim for that test to my insurance, and they also submitted claims for the other two tests I received that week to my insurance without issue. All three claims have been processed and my insurance has issued payment to My Doc Urgent Care for all three tests. As soon as I saw that the claim for the test on 5/11 had been submitted to my insurance, I notified My Doc Urgent Care that they had double charged me for the test. They responded that they were not sure if my insurance would cover it. That makes no sense, as they had already been reimbursed by my insurance for that same type of test on two other occasions within the same week. They are still refusing to issue me a refund weeks later and have stopped responding to my repeated attempts to contact them about this matter. I am concerned that they are committing fraud, as they had a prepared canned response to my concerns about the double billing that placed responsibility on me/my insurance provider for their mistake. If I hadn't received two other tests from them that same week that were covered by my insurance, I might have believed their fabricated response. I would like my $199 refunded since they received payment for the test through my insurance. They should never have charged me out of pocket in the first place.

      The worst of the worst. People who can't get jobs in fast food or hauling trash get jobs at MyDoc. They are rude. If they are not stupid, they act stupid. I went in at 9:20 a.m. for a PCR COVID test, and they told me AFTERward that results would take a day or more. I screamed that they should have told me before swabbing my nose. At 2 p.m. the following day, I called for results. "Call before 5 p.m." At 4:55 p.m. they told me they had never submitted my swab for testing because I was angry. Damn right, I was angry. Turns out, I do have COVID. What else is lovely? Torn plastic sofas. No handicapped access: no ramp, no elevator. How do they get away with that, in a property that was earlier an office, a gym and a bank? Wish I could rank them with zero stars.
