I went to Biscardi Vision on May 9th for an eye exam and have a new prescription added to two frames one which I owned and one which I purchased there. When I paid in full I was told it would take approximately two weeks. I was not informed of any turnaround delays using the insurance plan I have. I've called and has Biscardi Vision tell me the glasses were in when they were not.A month later Biscardi Vision called me and said my glasses were in. I asked both pairs and they said no. The glasses I owned that I was having the new prescription added to came in but not the pair of glasses I purchased. I wonder if they lied about sending both frames at the same time to be worked on. There is no reason that two pairs of eyeglasses sent at the same time wouldn't be received at the same time unless something happened.So the frame I purchased at Biscardi Vision on May 9th is still not in. They will not contact the insurance lab and find out the reason for the delay. They also seem to be avoiding responding to calls and emails. I called Monday this week from my cell and they appeared to send it to voicemail. I called from a landline and they answered.At minimum I want an apology, my glasses and why the delay happened. For the inconvenience I want some kind of partial monetary refund. Even if the delay is VSP they neglected to properly inform me of potential delays or at least advocate on my behalf.Business response

We appologize for the delay. We were concerned in responding regarding this patient for our own protection. ** ******'s behavior has been of major concern to this office. As ask that you PLEASE do not publically post a response from our practice as we are concerned for the satety of our staff. We would rather seem unresponsive than trigger him to come back to our practice.
Attached is communication proof that *** ****** was informed his vision insurance lab was delayed, he was refunded for all services, and his vision glasses benefit was returned in an effort to sever the relationship between our practice and *** ******.
He was also informed that we would be requesting his records and sending them to him, complimentary, as we will no longer be seeing him for care in the future.
