We hired Paint Services/Paint Philadelphia to paint our house and match the new siding on a small addition. It was a terrible, unprofessional experience! The owner, Andrew, subcontracted the work and had very little direct involvement from the start. They painted our house the wrong color and brought paint from several paint stores with different formulas. We had to point this out to him with text pics and even buy the new paint to prove the error to him. He stallled resolving the issue for over a month as he tried to recoup financial compensation from Sherwin Williams even though his company made the paint-matching mistake. He finally repainted our house but still at the cost of a major headche. His Team caused ceiling damage in 2 bedrooms with their powerwashing. His Team painted our house via a sprayer during a windy day causing an uneven application. When pointed out, his subcontractor agreed with this assessment and started applying a third spray coat on the back of our house. Once Andrew arrived at the site, he instructed them to stop and insisted we 'pay for a third coat'. His Team had already applied a third coat on 3/4 of the back of our house leaving uneven colors on various parts of the house. Andrew stormed off our property, refusing to leave any paint behind. Just a week later he had a paralegal send an email, threatening to collect the outstanding balance. Not sure if he actually 'retained' this lawfirm or just asked a friend to craft a threatening email. I would NOT recommend working with Andrew's company. He's immature with his business accumen and does not look to work with Home Owners to resolve issues his company creates. Perhaps he will learn overtime to be responsible and involved in his painting projects but right now, I would suggest searching elsewhere for an experienced, trustworthy painting company in the Philadelphia/NJ area.
