The newspaper is delivered weekly, even after request to stop delivery. The paper is overly religious and political, infringing ony freedom from those ideals.Business response

The Philipsburg Journal is a weekly newspaper that is delivered to approximately 8,000 residents in the Moshannon Valley area. The paper is free of charge to recipients. Based on the way the paper is mailed in bulk through the U.S. Postal Service, it is not possible to avoid certain addresses, including yours.
The Journal strives to cover issues of local interest, to encourage community involvement, and to keep our readers informed. We regret that you do not enjoy our paper.
If you do not wish to read the paper, you can simply discard it (or better yet, recycle it). Alternatively, you can return the newspaper to the red box outside the Journal office at *** ** *********** *t. The paper has become so popular, we regularly run out of copies. We always appreciate extra copies for readers outside our area.
Thank you.
