The company advertised free shipping but they charged me $20 for shipping to Hawaii and said that they had a disclaimer in the footer of the marketing. That's fine but I didn't see it, but was surprised in the checkout process. I went ahead and paid the $20 for shipping with an estimated delivery date of 12/23/22. The order was placed on 12/13/22. This was a Christmas gift but cutting it close. Then a few days ago, I tracked the shipping and it showed estimated delivery on 1/16/23 - more than a month after my order was placed. Obviously I was shocked and I contacted the company. They said there was nothing they can do, and that they would not refund the $20 shipping charge. I think this is a misleading business practice and I feel that I have been taken advantage of with expensive $20 shipping of a $100 kitchen pan, when they clearly shipped it using a below standard carrier. I feel that the company should refund the shipping charge, to make up for the misleading checkout and major delay in the arrival of the product. They blame the carrier, but I've had several packages arrive within a few days that were heavier than this product and with cheaper shipping rates shipped by friends and family since 12/13/22, all arriving within a few days, not weeks and not over a month. The fact that they blame the carrier for the delay and refuse to refund the shipping cost is highly suspicious. I would like a refund of the $20 shipping fee, and would appreciate and support you can provide.
