During the application process to apply for a lease, customers must agree to the Terms and Conditions of the parking facility.
Section 11 of the Terms and Conditions state that “In the event Leaseholder forgets or misplaces the encoded entry card, Leaseholder will pay the regular hourly charge for parking on that day”.
When the customer called and stated that he did not have his access badge, he was informed he had to pay the daily rate according to our Terms and Conditions.

We visited the Carnegie Science Center and parked at the North Lot that Alco Corp now manages across the street on Saturday, July 23,2022. The sign posted stated a rate of $6.00 after 9AM. Prior to leaving my husband paid the $6.00 with his debit card using the pay machine on-site. Though after reviewing their website it appears the Science Center rate is $5.00, and we were overcharged $1.00 for the initial parking fee. Anyway, The $6.00 transaction posted to our account on 07/27/2022, with a date of 07/26/2022. Then on the same day, 07/27/2022 a separate, additional unauthorized charge was also posted to our account in the amount of $14.00 with a date of 07/26/2022. On 08/03/2022 after seeing this $14.00 unauthorized charged, I contacted the Science Center and they patched me through to Alco’s general customer service number: ************ to see about getting a refund. It went straight to voicemail and I left a message with my phone number and summarizing the situation. Also on 08/03/2022, I found the lot manager, Tom M******* ***** *********************** via their website and sent him an email with my concerns. I never heard back from Tom or from anyone from Alco regarding the voicemail and email I left. On 08/08/2022 I found a general customer service email address [email protected] via their website and attempted to seek resolution via email from them, again outlining my concerns, looking for answers. It is now 08/14/2022 and I have not heard a peep from Alco Corp regarding this fraudulent, unauthorized additional charge to our debit card. I don’t care that it is only $14.00. It is a fraudulent unauthorized charge and I want contacted by the company for a refund.
