      Contacted several tree services to remove a tree that had fallen into my yard from an abandoned house. Set up an appointment with Greater Pitt Tree service on May 14, 2024. 2 gentlemen from Greater Pitt tree service came to check out the location of the tree and give me a quote. I mainly spoke with Michael M. He told me the tree was a silver maple and that they would remove most of the tree leaving a section on the property next door. I didn’t want any of the tree left. He agreed to that and put it in the invoice. I was told that they would have to haul the tree up out of yard because they couldn’t get their equipment in my lower yard. They mentioned the cracks in my driveway and asked me to sign a drivers waiver because there are cracks in the driveway and they didn’t want to be blamed for the cracks. I agreed to the cost of $3,000.00 and gave a down payment of $600.00 that was not refundable. The office manager Stephanie called May 16 and said job would be done on May 29. I did not need to be home due to the insurance they carry. When I came home from work May 29. I noticed tire marks in the bottom of my driveway and that they left a section of the tree on the property next year. My neighbor, ***** ****** was home that day and said she heard a guy tell the crew that cut the section of tree on the neighbors property to leave it. The job was not done as agreed too. I received an email and te t message wanting payment. I refused to use the credit card portal due to the $69 fee attached to using it. I paid via a check, which Stephanie stopped to get May 30., 2024. I got the feeling that she didn’t want to hear that the job wasn’t done. Nor was all the tree limbs that I asked her to remove from the yard when she called to schedule the trees removal on May 16, 2024. I don’t want an apology. The job was not done to my satisfaction and I will have to have the driveway cleaned or fixed.

      Carlos/owner greaterpitttreeservicepa.com.  . WE never take final payment until the job is complete and the customer is happy. We would of liked a phone call to the office or the salesman stating the issues and we would of gladly sent a crew back to get the few branches. And the driveway was in poor condition and that is why we have a waiver. It is impossible to bring equipment in on a driveway like that and not leave any markings. We will gladly return to get any remaining branches soon.
