Contractor arrived 4 hours late. No apology Arrived and did not know what he was to do, he had no plans. He did not measure the opening for washer and dryer and now they are in so tight we cannot move them out. He could have cut down the end filler board but did not.Did not installed pull out drawers.Did not install other items in the list or items to be done. Did not haul away boxes.***** was awesome and refunded our money for what he did not install. They called this company in our presence and asked they call us within two days. No phone call was ever received. We should be reimbursed for the services not done. When contractor was four hours late, I was the one who called 3 times. Each time I was just told he was on his way.Business response

Designed through ****** and installed per plan by us. Spoke to customer, she is scheduled for us to complete the project using a different installer. The Pull out trays could not be used, these did not accomodate the bottles of detergents, etc., and customer returned them to ****** for replacements that will work for her desired function. The filler will be cut down to allow for more room and spaceing for movement in this area. We apologized for installer being late. Customer was reimbursed for sink hook-up, faucet hookup, and cardboard haulaway. This company has nothing to do with the countertop, which customer had issue with when we spoke to her. We are cabinetry and finish carpenters, we do not do any type of countertops. All complaints from customer will be addressed and fixed promptly.Initial Complaint

Bought kitchen cabinets from lowes as well as hire a contractor from nationwide kitchen, the contractor delayed my install date 3 seperate times (each time was the night before, when I had already made prior arrangements to be ready for him) he finally came, started tearing out the cabinets and uncovered a mess that we had made an arrangement for him to come back and add dry wall, etc and finish repairs. My kitchen has been torn apart for 3 weeks now as he has every excuse in the book not to come, he tells me a date and the night before, same old song and dance he doesn't show. I don't know what else to do....Business response

This project was designed and sold by ******. Our contract required us to remove the soffit. The contract changed, but ****** did not provide new designs or changes to installer. We could not rebuild soffit for free due to store error and contact not reflecting correct work to be performed. The store has corrected this error on 3/20/2023 and installer is on-site 3/21/2023. Our team worked through out the weekend to rectify this issue with no support from ****** until Monday afternoon. Any corelated information can be made available upon request. All work is being performed per contract plus additional work contracted as of 3/20/23. Soffit is being rebuilt today and install is proceeding. All hold-ups were due to lack of response and communication by ******. Our hands were tied due to contract changes made with customer that ****** did not communicate to installer. ****** has paid the rebuild of the soffit and admitted error.Initial Complaint

Nationwide kitchen installers were hired to install cabinets we bought from ***** in October. The cabinets arrived on 10/31/2022 and the installation was scheduled for 11/9/2022. The two installers who came to install left at 4:30 stating that their shift is over, the work was not completed so we asked when they will come next. They said they don't know and we will recieve a call. They took a piece of crown molding with them, we contacted the installer about the molding and we were told it might be in their van with other trash and they will find out where it is. After waiting for a schedule I called them back and received no firm date, but was told the installer is no longer with them and they will have to scheule someone else to finish the job. They also said they have placed an order for the crown molding because they were unable to recover it from the previous installer. Since 11/15/2022 till date I have been calling and asking for updates I keep getting different excuses such as the part is not here yet to the installer is in west virginia and cannot be contacted.Business response

Customer was scheduled to be completed on 12/23 and had to be rescheduled due to ice storm, moldings were reordered and picked up from ****** where this project is coordinated through. We have and are completing all contracted work. Project is being rescheduled at soonest available date. The time for moldings to be replaced is not within the control of the contractor, this timing is from mfg, as soon as moldings were available, this was scheduled.Customer response

We were contracted through *****. We cannot control getting held up on product replacement or design changes. This project is installed per design and customer does not like it. There are remedies, but ***** has not given NKI the required information. This requires design and product changes for customer to get what she wants. The biggest issue for this install is that the customer thought her cabinets would be built out to hide her appliances and that is not reflected on design or elevations supplied by store for installer to install per plan. Pantry is installed exactly as designed. Wrong product was sent by mfg or ordered by *****, which we have no control or input with. We will ***** finish up all loose ends on this project as soon as we know how the designer and ***** is proceeding. Current product available at customer's home is wrong according to design. This job is in limbo due to ******, not the installer. They need to decide how they want everyone to proceed.
Design changed 3x- and designer is still ordering product. Tell us why here...

On March 22nd our cabinets were installed. The installer drilled the wrong drawer pull holes. I told him I needed to speak with my boyfriend about what we wanted to do about it. Since that time, and even before when scheduling the install, they have refused to call us back. We call, get the operator, she insists someone will call us back the next day but, we never receive a call. We had to insist the operator put us on the schedule to have the cabinets installed to begin with. The person who was in charge of our case has never called us. The cabinets were also unlevel, which we had to pay someone else to fix in order for us to proceed with countertops. We still have a scratched cabinet door and 4 drawers with extra holes drilled into them.Business response

This job was contracted to us through *****. We have been in contact w/customer throughout this process. We are taking care of all of the install issues that she has an issue with that is within our control. As soon as she expressed concerns, we did a site-assessment and created a replacement parts list and ordered these parts through ***** on 5/2/2022. We have not heard about an ETA, but again, this job was purchased through ***** by the customer, not ********************. Replacement products were ordered through ***** for her ***** job on 5-2-2022. We stand behind our installs and if there are any issues, we address them at our cost (for what is our responsibility).Customer response

Once we got in contact with the correct person from nationwide installers the corrections/repairs were handled in a timely manner and to our satisfaction.
