The company, Cool- It Heating & Air Conditioning, charged my credit card for 3 transactions that had nothing to do with me. In May of 2021, there were charges to my credit card (5/26/21 for $40.00 and 5/27/21 for $23.95) The people who purchased my home in 2019 set up automatic withdrawal with Cool It for the heating/cooling system, which naturally came with the house. Unbeknownst to me, Cool It still had my credit card information on file; when the credit card the new owners of ** ******* **. had on file expired, Cool It defaulted the payments to my credit card. I called them immediately when I saw these charges, 6/15/21. The owner was all apologies and said he would take care of it. On my next credit card statement another charge of $23.95 was there 6/27/21. I called again, and got the same response, so sorry. The next statement, July 2021, two of the charges were removed, $40.00 and 1 for the $23.95. I called once again 7/14/21 to tell them that 2 of the 3 charges were recovered but not the third. I was told they would take care of it . I called again in August, more excuses and I finally told them to just write me a check. I called today 1/10/22 to tell them I had yet to receive my money. The owner Bill was rude, due to my frustration, I was loud in my tone, yet he gave the same excuses as to why the money was not returned or credited to my card. I told the owner that I was going to call the credit card company or the Better Business Bureau and before he hung up on me, he said, " do what you have to do". In essence this business has stolen $23.95 from me, used my credit card without my authorization and they knew I had sold the house in 2019 because I notified them that there would be a change in ownership. I have been patient up to this point and I hope you can notify this company and help me get my money back. Thank you very much. Check was mailed out to ******* on 1/10 after our last conversation. The check number we have on file for this refund is 50715131. We will check with our bank to be sure that it was not processed. This is the first notice we have received not the the second from the BBB. This was an electronic error between credit card companies as all three credits were done on the same day. The credit card companies have also put a trace on the refund.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received the check that was mailed out on 1/10. I don't know if Cool It even had my correct address since Bill hung up on me before I could give him my new address. He will see that the check has yet to clear. He thanks me for my patience, yet this has been going on since my first phone call back in May of 2021. Also he states that this was an electronic error and all three credits were done on the same day. Not true, there were 3 separate credits on my credit card: 5/26/21, 5/27/21 and another on 6/27/21. My patience is at an end. My address is *** ********** *** West Chester, PA ***** and I would like to receive my check for $23.95.Regards,
