We rented the 2021 Forest River Sunseeker LE RV from Hearthfire RV and Recreation (HRR) for a trip to see family over the 2021 Christmas holidays. We experienced many issues with this RV that included advertised RV features that were not available, poor maintenance of the RV and problems not disclosed before pickup. When I arrived to pick up the RV on the day of my trip, HRR informed me: * The auto-leveling did not work. * The tire indicator light would come on. * The lane assist camera did not. * The outside rear-view mirrors would not hold position. * The exterior gaskets on the slide-out will fall to the ground when extended. * The GPS tracker was just duct taped on and I later found out it did not even work. I was told of these problems the day that I picked up the RV. I should have been told of these issues way before my rental date. I believe this was because the rv was rented out and returned just prior to my trip. HHR did not service or even evaluate the rv after it was returned but instead rented it out to me in poor condition. I was forced into a position to rent this RV or just forget seeing family for the holidays. During my trip I found out that: * The freshwater tank had a leak and could not be used * The heater did not work * The grey and black water tanks were full * A rear tire had a slow leak and needed repair * The black water tank sensor did not work * The awning on the slide-out was out of its support track. The owner tried to blame the slide-out problem on me. ********* found, through their investigation, that this was previous damage and not our fault but the responsibility of the owner. I am concerned that HRR does not properly service and maintain this RV or communicate honestly with renters about its condition. I do not feel that HRR is concerned about the renter’s safety and comfort. Even after filing a dispute with ********* the owner has made no effort to contact me or to make this situation right. A horrible rental experience!
