We hired this contractor to remodel 2 bathrooms, 1st floor flooring, kitchen countertops & backsplash, a $48,000 job to be completed in 4-6 weeks starting April 17, 2023. As of today July 29, 2023 none of those projects are completed. The kitchen, powder room & kitchen sink all caused damage from leaking valves. The contract called for replacing all shutoff valves which he did not do & did not use the correct reducers & washers, just a ton of silicon as a "fix". June 4, 2023 he texted us stating that the entire project would be completed this week beside the shower glass that was being installed by a 3rd party. He proceeded to show up only 9 days between June 5 & July 29 before we were forced replace him. Some of those 9 days included images from my security camera of him coming and leaving after only 31 minutes of work and 1 day he left with our TUB FAUCET which we paid for & he has not returned. July 5th, 2023 he showed up to the house for the shower glass installation which after being installed he informed me he "forgot his wallet" forcing me to pay the balance out of pocket. This expenditure along with other payments went against the original contract of 1/3 deposit, 1/3 halfway & 1/3 at final completion walkthrough. I have outlaid $45,500 of this $48,000 project that still has no plumbing in the master bath, Only the toilet in the master bath is working, The 1st floor flooring was layed incorrectly causing voids where the baseboard & 1/4 round does not cover the planks & a kitchen backsplash that is installed without spacers, is not level, not grouted & broken tile placed across the stove area. He failed to communicate on the days he failed to show to even try to give us any reason & obviously misrepresented his ability to complete projects even after several documented commitments to certain dates. He continues to use our master bath on his Facebook page to advertise for his business even though it is NOT a working shower/bath!

Date: Feb/2022- Paid $1300 Committed to powder room remodel Explanation of items not completed or done incorrectly: 1. Where he connected the water behind the sync, the wall was never fixed. There is a big hole in the wall. 2. Did not install new toilet 3. Did not paint ceiling 4. Did not fix chip in sync, which I told him that I would not accept the sink in that condition, but he said he would fix it. 5. Did not touch up the paint - Around the sink cabinet, In the corners, Front of the toilet, Behind sink faucet, By the base boards, The area around the sync where the old one was removed- sand/repaint 6. Thermostat – he did not say anything about that you would not be able to do this. You said you had it in your truck then later changed your mind on doing it. This was part of a verbal agreement when we discussed the job but was not on your list items on the invoice but was in the texts. 7. GFI – He said when I hired him that it needed to be replaced as part of a bathroom renovation to bring up to code and reduce electrocution. 8. Requested additional $300, which was an increase of $100 from the original invoice and never produced the new invoice, which was referred to in the text messages. 9. Floor Replacement-Incorrectly Done- Laid on top of existing floor, cut the door frame to make the new height of the floor work. Floor is creaking as if not completely glued because he laid it on top of the existing flooring. Cut the flooring around the space heater as not to remove and do the whole floor the right way. Wood around the toilet is missing 10. He abandoned the job and never showed up or responded to a request on when he would show up after he missed the Monday that he said he would return 11. I gave him multiple opportunities to respond via text but he never tried to resolve. 12. He owes me refund to have someone come and fix what he failed to do (see above) or did incorrectly (see above) and replace the sink/cabinet since it has a chip in it.
