Wow, talk about corp greed and sneaky business practices. Gone are the days of finding deals on Goodwill. First let’s start with ShopGoodwill. I have bought plenty of items from the site. You can’t help but question their auction and business practices. But my biggest complaint is the outrageous shipping prices. I’ve started documenting the size box that is unnecessarily huge which takes pricing to a different tier and it’s filled with paper stuffing or the messy peanut filling. It reminds me when you use to look for a prize in a cereal box. The actual item I bought was out of portioned compared to the box. And they only use FED Ex on Ground Home Delivery which I believe is a 2 day service. I don’t have any other option other than that or if your lucky you can pick up from that store. None of the stores are close to me. The closest one is about an hour and a half drive on a good day. Why does Fed ex have a monopoly on their shipping and not USPS regular mail. And why do they insist on the Ground Home Delivery? Sounds like there is a conflict of interest somewhere behind close doors. Does Goodwill really fit the Non Profit criterias? Their inventory is FREE, many of their workers are people doing community service , have some kind of disability or recently have been released from jail. Not only can you pay time just the minimum wage but those are special groups the businesses would get a substantial tax credit, as if having a non- profit status doesn’t already get you a lot of other perks . I really think they thought no one would bring this up because in their eyes their customer wouldn’t notice these questionable practices nor would anyone listen to them. I welcome you to see what I’m talking about: go to ShopGoodwill.com. Pick any item, then click on it and get an estimate for shipping cost. Take note of the actual weight vs. shipping weight; also the “handling” fee and finally your actual cost just to get this item to you.

**************** is over charging customers for shipping. Each listing can be different, but they indicate they are using a Dimensional Shipping calculator through Fed Ex. However, they don't list the Dimensions on the listing so Customers can't verify or estimate shipping costs. They also indicate often that if an item is small it can be shipped in a small pre-paid box, however, my last two items won - were small enough to fit in a small box, but was charged for a 4 lb Dimension box through Fed Ex -- at an extremely high cost, when I called them on it, they said they don't use the pre-paid boxes - even though their estimates say they do. The item weighed less than 1 lb, and the dimensions are 8 x 5 x less than 1 - and they charged me for an item that weighed 2 lbs. I'm notified Customer Service who got ugly with me about it. I simply didn't want to be over charged. It's not right that they use a calculator for shipping but don't give the customer the ability to estimate shipping with the same calculations they do. I'm calling mail fraud on ****************

Customers are given store credit via stores, told that they can be used everywhere and shopgoodwill.com. There is no option to process via shopgoodwill.com. Upon contacting customer service had a rude rep/response that they did not accept and will not. Sooooooo, why are they given. Goodwill is suppose to help the less fortunate but have buyers spend unnecessary money to complete their purchases via online. I have $ on a card that I cannot use and is forced to now use my debit card to complete. Very sad.

DO NOT USE THEM. They are not a business they are a badly ran charity. They take no responsibility for shipping mistakes and do not respond to service tickets promptly. When they do respond they do not have the adequate information to fix the problem ( I need the tracking # to change a shipping address after THEIR system did not update my address ) I am still waiting for actual resolution.

THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND THEY ARE COMMITTING ANTI-TRUST ACTIVITY. THEY WILL PURPOSELY OVERBID AN ITEM THAT THE CLIENT PLACED A BID ON SO THAT IF THE CLIENT WANTS MERCHANDISE CLIENT CAN PURCHASE THAT MERCHANDISE AT A HIGHER PRICE. I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL ITEMS FROM THEM EVEN THOUGH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEIR ATTITUDE ARE EXTREMELY NASTY FOR A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. THEY ARE EXTREMELY ENTITLED. THEY TREAT CLIENTS WITH ZERO RESPECTS NOR REGARD. THEY DO AS THEY PLEASE. THEY RECENTLY OVERBID ON SEVERAL OF THE ITEMS I WANTED TO BUY FROM THEM. I QUICKLY CATCH UP ON THEIR FRAUD PATTERNS. WHENEVER THEY OUTBID MY ITEMS I WILL REMOVE THESE ITEMS FROM MY FAVORITES. THEY DECIDED TO OVERBID ME AFTER THE ITEM BIDDING ITEM FRAME IS OVER THEY WILL ADD THE SAME ITEM TO MY SHOPPING WAIT LIST TO PAY FOR. THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUD AND THE NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED
