I bought the Honda and they knowingly did not disclose that it had an oil issue from a recall. It was only ever serviced there. Now that I’m almost at the end of my payments and they said they would give me a good faith payment to cover 50% of the repairs. They caused another issue when I had it serviced and the dip stick wasn’t in and the oil leaked out. They are not helpful and I called corporate and they were not any hep either.Business response

Good morning, I am in receipt of the clients concern. The concern in question was disclosed to the customer and was addressed on August 3, 2011. There was a campaign for additional coverage on this vehicle from the manufacturer, the car was inspected and completed on 8-3-2011. The campaign for oil consumption expired 1-27-2018. In an effort to provide some goodwill assistance even though the coverage had been expired for 5 years the customer was offered help. At this time we have provided and performed more than required. The customer was offered the opportunity to trade the vehicle in for something newer with coverage as this may be the best cost effective alternative. We are awaiting his visit to discuss options.

I am in receipt of **. *********'s complaint. I have spoken to him in length regarding this situation. Unfortunately, from what I am told the parts to repair the car are not available and subject to supply chain issues and on backorder. While he did purchase the vehicle from us the car is being repaired at another facility and the parts were not ordered from us. I have limited control and knowledge of the repair status, parts eta and repair of the car. We are not able to replace the vehicle and have tried our best in communicating with the factory regarding the parts needed. This is an unfortunate situation and we feel for ********************** but our hands are unfortunately tied and our ability to assist is limited without having the vehicle being repaired here and parts ordered from us.
