My trash collector - DelGuerico's did not pick up for 2 weeks. Then sent a letter they could no longer service us any longer due to circumstances beyond their control leaving us with 2 weeks of stinky trash in July 2021. It was 2 weeks before another company could haul their trash away. Thankfully they did. After many calls they finally picked up their cans months later in September 2021. I am due a refund of $36.21 for service I had prepaid that they could not fulfill. After many documented attempts they said they would refund in due time. It is March 2022 and still no refund. I have contacted Doylestown Township. They put me in contact with *************************** the ****** County Consumer Protection. I plan to reach out to the news stations too as there are many other people in my community dealing with this issue. They are still doing business, collecting payments for services and not repaying us. Just bad business! I own 2 businesses. It has been tough, but you have to do the right thing and I feel I have been very patient. They will not return an email or a phone call. I gave them a week before I took this step. Shame on them but that time has come.Customer response

Contracted with DelGuericos trash company for years. In July they missed 2 of the 4 weeks, then stopped picking up trash altogether, even though we paid through August 30th. Sent a letter to the company requesting a refund for services not provided, contacted our local representative who said there was nothing she could do contacted the consumer protection office over 2 months ago and have gotten no response.Initial Complaint

We had paid DelGuerico's to provide private trash pickup. They charged us $150 for 3 months (weekly pickup) which we pre-paid for June, July, and August. They stopped picking our trash up in the middle of July without any warning. We finally found out via ******** that DelGuerico's was dropping a large number of customers. They did not answer emails, or phone calls. We never received any written notification that they were no longer going to pick up our garbage. Instead they just stopped coming. This happened to our neighbors as well. They did however come and pick up their garbage cans. I was able to finally get in touch with them via the phone in early Sep and they told me that I would receive a check by Sep 21 for the $75 refund for the services they did not provide. We have not received a refund check. I spoke with ***** at DelGuerico's on Nov 1, and she told me that she cannot tell me if or when I will receive a check.Initial Complaint

This company was my trash company for 2 years until they stopped showing up. Last pick up was 7/24/21. They said they stopped servicing Warrington Twp. and they would pick up our cans within 2 weeks and send refund.As of today nothing has been done. I would really like them to get their cans off my property.Initial Complaint

*************** stopped picking up trash without notice. Sent notice weeks later. Left us with no trash service for weeks. Trash piled up causing health risks to the neighborhood. They still haven't picked up their cans which remain with us - we are trying to find a way to get rid of them.
