      Purchase date 04/01/22 Ordered takeout from OIP upon arrival our soda was warm and our food was inedible to the point that we threw it out. I ordered cheese fries and they so so soggy and the chicken wings I ordered were overcooked and cooked in bad oil. My calzone was terrible the dough was hard and broccoli was not fully cooked. I spent $50 to feed my family, I want a full refund for my inconvenience.

        I apologize that the customer was unsatisfied with their order. The customer never contacted us to make us aware of their dissatisfaction. If they would have contacted us we would have immediately either remade their complete order or refunded their money, whichever the customer would have preferred. We also would have delivered it to them even though it was a pick up order. Unfortunately since it was in fact a pick up order and we didnt receive any phone call about the complaint we have no way of knowing how long the ordered was waiting for the customer to pick it up.

      on Friday, December 17, 2021 I ordered food from *** *********** via the slice life website. I paid via PayPal with my card, for both the food and the delivery drivers tip. I never received my food, and when I called the restaurant the owner was not able to contact the driver. He assured me that I would be issued a refund, but told me that it may take 4 to 6 weeks because it was processed through slice life. I was never issued a refund, and when I disputed the charge through my card they are denying offering me a refund. I paid almost $40 for absolutely nothing as I never received the food. I also tried to resolve this issue through slice life, and they told me that because it was not the same day of the issue, that I cannot be issued a refund. I do not have documentation of the refund, because the owner said he didnt know how to send me confirmation of a refund and just told me verbally over the phone.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Slice did not refund my money, and its been 3 months. Further, when I disputed the charge through Discover, they denied my claim because OIP wouldnt confirm that the order was canceled, and I dont have evidence because it was done via phone conversation. Also, I contacted slice and they also said OIP did not issue a refund but they cant help me because I didnt contact them the day the order was canceled (which I didnt do because OIP told me it would take 4-6 weeks because of going through slice, which is a 3rd party. ) Lastly, the order was only canceled because it was over an hour and a half past the latest delivery time and the owner couldnt get ahold of the driver to see what the issue was or when he would finally arrive with my order.
