My family has had property at this campground for over 40 years. We were just told to vacate the property unlawfully. With no warning or reasoning. They are claiming my property was not updated this season. My property is well kept and always clean. They are illegally doing this.Business response

This is a campground with 600 sites and 436 sites are seasonals from April 15th to October 15th of each year. Every guest signs a contract only for that season. In the contract it states that the campground has the right to remove any camper at any time for multiple reasons. One of the main reasons is that any camper over 10 years of age and not properly taken care of is not allowed in the park. We honored every contract for the 2022 season that was here from the previous owners with the exception of a few that continually broke many rules. Mrs **** has been asked since April of 2022 every month to clean up the site, paint the porch, Keep the unit clean and help us to continue getting the park back up to standard. The signed contract that must be completed at the end of each season plainly states that at any time the owners have the right to not renew the next season's contract for any reason they choose. It is a seasonal contract, not a long term lease. They only rent a site where it is not their property or they do not own anything except the camper, deck and shed that is allowed on the site. If that is not kept in very nice conditions they are asked to leave the park. This is the case with Mrs. ****. Her current contract actually ends on October 15th 2022.
She has actually become very rude and has been cursing our staff and my wife and I and she is threatening all types of attorneys and being very disrespectful. She had plenty of time and plenty of notices giving her a chance to correct all the multiple issues that have caused the site to be an eyesore for our park.
We will not be allowing Mrs **** to renew her contract for the 2023 season and if her site has not been cleaned and cleared by October 31st 2022 she will be responsible for all the additional fees that will occur.
