I am filing a complaint against Heaps Landscaping for their poor workmanship and failure to rectify the issues with the paver installation at my property. Despite attempts to resolve the matter, the contractor has not addressed the deficiencies, honored their reimbursement agreement, or responded to the demand letter.Enclosed are documents to support my complaint:1. Copy of the Demand Letter sent to [Paver Contractor's Name] on [Date].2. Photographs depicting the installation flaws.In October 2022, I hired Heaps Landscaping to install pavers on my patio, paying a total of $10,300. However, the installation has numerous issues, including incorrect pitch, significant puddling, uneven joint sizes, bad cuts, and a settled section causing a curved appearance. These flaws make the patio unsightly, causing furniture and planters to sit crooked.*****, the owner of Heaps Landscaping, visited my property and acknowledged the problems. On May 8, he agreed to reimburse $1500. However, no reimbursement has been received. I sent a certified demand letter on May 26, which was signed for on June 2nd, but there has been no response.I request BBB's assistance in resolving this matter. The $1500 reimbursement would help offset the costs of hiring another contractor to fix the deficiencies. Several other patio contractors have confirmed the execution flaws in the installation.Please review the enclosed evidence, including the demand letter and photographs. I believe Heaps Landscaping should be held accountable for their poor workmanship and failure to fulfill their reimbursement agreement. Your intervention is crucial in securing a fair resolution.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
