I have a real problem with these people having access to my personal information. The second i turned 65 they have been relentless in sending me mail regarding hearing aids. Could you be any more ageist??? HOW did they obtain my name, address, and age??? I have asked them multiple times to take me off they’re mailing list, yet they continue to harass me. Just because I am 65 does NOT mean i need a hearing aid! I don’t need one, don’t want one and certainly given their relentless marketing would NEVER get one through them. They have no business accessing my personal information, then ASSUMING BECAUSE OF MY AGE, that I actually NEED their product. This needs to stop. If they continue to contact me, I will speak with an attorney as this not only is ageist but it’s harassment.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction was 7/21/22. I had paid a $300 down payment for hearing aids. The business owner Shane M************ explained to me that it would lower the payments. He said the hearing aids would work with blue tooth to protect my hearing when I was at work since I do a lot of work over the phone. When I came to the appointment to have the hearing aids fitted and take them, they explained they wouldn't be compatible with my phone, so the blue tooth function wouldn't work. I said I didn't want to purchase them. He became very angry. The contract said there was a $150 or 10% whichever was less cancellation policy. When I contacted Miracle Ear, they customer service person said since hearing aids can be sold separately, the fee applied to each hearing aid which was not specified in the contract. I didn't take the hearing aids and return them, I never took them so it wasn't a return. I cancelled the order. I emailed the contract to the customer service person but he said the business told him I misunderstood the contract when it was very clear what the policy was. I asked for the business to return $150 of the $300. Mr. M************* was very abusive once I declined the sale and the entire experience was upsetting. I would like the business to refund $150. Miracle Ear states its policy is a 30 100% refund. Thank you. ********************************* Thank you.
