On December 31,2021 I stopped at the ************* car wash which is operated by the Veras Trading co. Per the phone answering machine message. I got $5 dollars is tokens (5) tokens, inserted all 5 tokens in the car wash and the car wash never worked. Per the signage it takes 4 tokens for the wash to start. After I inserted my 5 tokens without the car wash working I called the number provided and explained what happened to me. I gave the wash bay # and a description of what happened. I left my phone number on the answering machine and asked for a return phone call and a reimbursement. After the holiday weekend was over I called the number again and left a similar message, I've now called 4 times but have yet to receive a return call. I've now researched the business and I'm finding mostly terrible reviews about this business. I’ve had similar situations with other car washes in other areas and thankfully all of the businesses have responded back with apologies and full reimbursement. That's all I'm asking for, regrettably this business hasn't responded.Business response

I am writing in response to a customer complaint about a $5.00 refund from Veras Trading, the **** *** Car Wash. He did leave several messages, but as in the past I retrieve all messages from our machine once a week, and return the calls. As soon as I received his calls, I called the customer and left a voice mail on his phone. I explained to him that I always return every phone call we receive, and make arrangements for a refund to the customer. I requested that he leave his name and address on our answering machine and I would gladly refund his $5.00. He returned the call the same day and left the message on our answering machine. I made sure that I checked our machine the same day as I knew he was very impatient about the refund. I immediately mailed out a $5.00 refund check to him, along with 5 tokens for a car wash. We value our customers and always try to solve any issues they have.
