My husband and I placed a deposit on a lift kit to be orded and put on but this Company. The owner said it would be in 3 days later. After waiting a Month the owner told us that is was in and to bring the jeep up to have it put on. They said I would be done 3 days later. We called they told us it wouldn't be ready for another few days. Due to someone on vacation. And it would be done next week. After calling all week to check on it without anyone returning. We just went in . only to find that the jeep was not moved, the lift kit had not been ordered . the owner keep lying to my husband. We gave him another few days to get it on and he told me we could pick it up Weds. because it would be done that evening or Weds morning. The owner called/ texted my husband and said that it wasn't ready because now it needed more pars. We decided that we would just pick the jeep up and have the lifte kit put on by a friend but we would just buy the left kit off the shop. The owner said he never ordered it and would have it in on tues 2 weeks ago(Aug 23, 2022) . IT is now Sept 1, 2022. We have not heard from the owner. My husband left messages and no one called him back. So i called and told the employee that I would be in Tomorrow Sep 2, 2022 to either buy the lift kite that should have been in the shop or i want my deposit back. I was informed he would call his boss Justin and let him know. The boss then texted my husband. saying okay i will just send back the lift . To find out today 9-2-22. He lied the kit was never ordered. His own Employee had to take money out of his pocket to refund our deposit.Business response

Dear ********,
This correspondence is in response to your memo dated September 2, 2022, which was just currently received this week. We take exception to this complain for the following reason.
The ***** vehicle is completely non road worthy due to severe rust and the worn out suspension system. The floor pans are completely rotted away an suspension system is not Pa inspection acceptable. The three technicians in this garage who are ASE factgory trained technicians and Pa Licensed inspection mechanics refused to clear the vehicle worthy of road use let alone perform suspension alternations.
In addition the axle and spring carriers in their present condition are in poor condition and unsafe for alternations to be made.
The lift kit (said parts) are sitting in our warehouse and basically are non returnable to manufacturer without paying a considerable restocking fee and return freight. We feel customer is responsible for these charges because he stated his vehicle was recently inspected and in good mechanical condition when we ordered his parts with a down payment of $100.00.
When vehicle was delivered here for the work to be performed all technicians refused to work on this vehicle. They did this in good conscious and fear of jeopardizing their inspection license and certifications based on the potential for future accidents.
We were also asked to just sell them the parts and they would install themselves. The ownership made the decision not to sell to them for the same reason. (owner is a retired Pa. DOT law enforcement professional)
Letter of complaint states a sales employee removed money from his personal property to make a cash refund to the *****'s. This was required to do so because the original credit card used was for purchase was declined for some reason. Said employee used funds from the business petty cash fund to satisfy the *****'s because they stated they needed the money.
In summary the vehicle owned BY THE *****'s and presented to Jisco Truck Off Road is an unsafe road worthy vehicle and needs to be removed from the highways.
