I overpaid to the PT office. I asked to refund. It was difficult to contact them, I left my msg in their voice mail. They never called me back. One day, that person finally talked with me and said will check to see if their check is already cashed, because I didn't remember to get refund from them. I was wondering if it got lost in mail. I haven't heard from them and I called and left maybe 4 messages. They never call me back.Business response

Good Afternoon,
I received a letter from you today stating that ******* ********* had filed a claim with the BBB on June 24, 2024 because she felt she was owed a refund from our office for her son, ***** who was seen in our Waterford Office last summer. There was some confusion at the beginning, because Wise Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine had purchased Kuzma Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in May of 2023, during the time that Dylan was being seen as a patient. New software was implemented and there was an issue for a small period of time where Wise had some problems obtaining patient records from the previous software system utilized by Kuzma PT. However, in December of 2023 it was determined that the patient had indeed overpaid by $52.50. A check was issued on December 4, 2023 and was cleared by the bank on December 14, 2023. I have attached a copy of this payment. ******* ********* contacted our office in June of 2024 and stated she had come across a paper on her desk about a refund and did not remember receiving it. I spoke with her and told her that our system was showing we had refunded her $52.50. She asked if we could check to see if it cleared the bank and I told her that I would look into that for her. I was able to find that check and had to leave a message on her machine indicating that the check had indeed been cashed. I told her that it was signed by the patient and herself. I was surprised to see that she filed a report as this has all been taken care of last year. I also wanted to mention that I just received this letter today, July 5, 2024. It is dated June 24, 2024 and was sent to our Slippery Rock location by mistake.
