On May 5, 2023 I deposited a check for $3850.00 at the "Univest Bank and Trust" located - ************* Warminster, PA******. I was told on May 8, 2023 the above check CLEARED. I withdrew $2800.00 BECAUSE THE CHECK CLEARED!May 11, 2023 I was called, the check didn't clear???Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I was told by a bank employee the deposited check for $3850.00 CLEARED and in my savings account - (copy already sent to BBB with the available balance) I then withdrew $2800. I should NEVER have been told by the bank check cleared because I WOULD NOT have withdrew the $2800. This is an ERROR made by the bank employee and I SHOULD get a deposit of $2800. into my savings account ASAP. I am not in a good financial status. During this time my husband suffered an extremely devastating health condition; I am also struggling with a extremely devastated health condition.

I am rejecting this response because: I called the Univest Bank asking if the check for - $3850.00 cleared. I was told by a bank employee that the check for $3850.00 CLEARED. I withdrew $2800.00 BECAUSE the check had cleared; I WOULD NEVER HAVE WITHDRAWEN ANY MONEY IF, the check didn't clear. The bank employee IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HER ERROR in telling me the check for $3850.00 CLEARED!
