I hired Mike F***** and Phlash Photo Booth for an event that I was hosting on 10/8 at the ****** ***** **** Mall in PA. Mike assured me when I spoke with him that he was an honest guy and that the photobooth would be running the entire time except when he needed to switch paper or the like. He stated that he would be there before the event started and would be completely set up for the start of the event. Not only was Mike NOT set up for the start of the event but the photobooth continuously went down and Mike provided NO notification to me about what was happening. I only found out that it continuously went down when I had potential clients come up to me and tell me it wasn't working. While it was not working, my business partner approached Mike and inquired what was happening. He stated that he was having issues with all of his systems. He assured my partner that there would be a refund issued. Mike stayed for the rest of the event but never once told us that the photobooth was back up and running (I assumed he was still trying to work on it) so the entire event we didn't send people to the photobooth. This was the one paid entertainment option we had at our event, so I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment and frustration. I didn't even find out that the photobooth was working again until the end of the event when he asked me if I wanted to take a photo with my team. Of a 5 hour event, I think we had less than 5 families have the opportunity to actually use the photobooth in the short time it was working. I have since tried to contact Mike via email regarding a refund. I have sent two emails that have gone unanswered. My business partner has tried to call Mike numerous times and he has not answered. As you can see from the contract, it is promised that we will receive a refund of $150/hr for time it was down and it was down, to the best of our knowledge, for at least 90% of the 5 hours. I have also added my receipt. I would like a full refund.
