On December 22, 2023 the BBB of Western Pennsylvania opened an investigation into The Hushball and its business practices. An investigation was prompted due to the number of consumer complaints and inquiries alleging (a) the business was failing to deliver merchandise after consumers placed an order online and (b) unresponsive to consumer requests for refunds. As of December 28, 2023 the business has not responded to BBB requests to provide background information or address the pattern of complaints.

Purchased an item from them, and I have still not received the order and it’s been 21 days. I’ve attempted to contact the company on their website twice but I’ve got no response. I attempted to email the customer support email address but it said it was invalid. I tried to call the company but the number goes to a mailbox that is full and I am unable to leave a message..Initial Complaint

I ordered from Hushball on 12/13/2023. Shipping updates showed the purchase "arrived at a shipping partner facility" in Jamaica NY and was waiting for USPS pickup for 15 days. It finally arrived on 1/2, way after the expected delivery date. No one responded to 2 emails I sent asking for a shipping update in that 15 day window. When it got here it was in a bag with a return address from "Jane." The bag and the ball were punctured. I didn't open it because I knew i wanted an exchange or return but after 5 emails to them no one has responded to me.Initial Complaint

On 12/05/23 I purchased 3 hushballs from hushhandleball.com order number ***** for 63.96 USD and never received them. I use my visa ending in ****, I have emailed over 5 times but no response and no refunds for over 1 month. I believe this is a scam, I would like a refund. the website lists **************@*****.com for questions but no response for over a month now.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on Nov 19, 2023 and have never received it and get no response from the company when I reach out. In the email from them confirming my order, they list an email address to contact for support. I’ve reached out 3 times asking for the status of my information or cracking information and I have never received any response. I want to get a refund if my order is never going to come. Ordered on November 24th. Emailed company several times because item appeared stuck in transit. I have only received a reply once on multiple email attempts. Item finally arrived December 28th with 3 shipping labels attached and the final one from someone named Jane in New Jersey while this company is located in PA. The item was showing shipping in New York for weeks, I have since learned this is a shipping port and indeed this company is selling a product that they first wait to come from overseas. The item arrived in nothing more than a mesh net and shipping envelope it is dirty and defective.
