Brought my car there cause after a half hour it was shutting off the idle was going down after them having my car for three weeks I got it back and it’s still running the same way after all these repairs that were done.Business response

Hi this Tony from 611 Trans. The customer brought there vehicle in for us to repair it after getting the vehicle check out from another mechanic. The reason they choose us is because we offer payment plans. The customer had a list of issues like brakes rotors, control arms , and catalytic converter. She express her hardship she has gone through with this vehicle since purchasing it. We look over the vehicle and confirm the list of parts that her mechanic gave where bad. We gave her a price and got her financing to repair the vehicle. After the vehicle was done we road tested the vehicle and it work fine. After the customer pick up the vehicle over the weekend she experience a problem. She stated after 30 - 40 mins of drive the RPM of vehicle will go up and down . This is a whole different issue the vehicle is having. From the list of parts like brakes , rotors , control arms and shocks will not cause this issue . When she first brought the vehicle she did say that the place she brought it from repair the engine because it broke down a right after she drove off the lot. She also had the state police come to our shop to show damage parts from the vehicle. After she brought the vehicle back for the cutting off issue we spent a lot of time to try to trouble shot the problem we change parts which should correct the problem and didn't and we didn't charge the customer. She even took the car to another shop and they said it need a sensor change. One of the sensor we put in and didn't fix the problem. She called me back to tell me that the mechanic change the sensor and it didn't fix the problem. The vehicle has issue from the day she got it from the used car dealer. The engine had fail and need repairs and it's possible there may still be issue with the engine or electrical. We feel bad for what the customer is going through and we try everyway to help her out. She was sold a bad car to begin with. We do stand behind our work and if anything was done wrong we will fix it. But as I mention the parts we change has not to do with the issue the vehicle has currentlyCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:the car was brought there in the first place for it shutting off I had it towed the second time it shut off in the same day to them for the repairs. I ended up putting extra parts that weren’t needed and he gave me the car back not running correctly twice cause he couldn’t find the problem. As far as the car purchase yes it was a used car that was said to have new parts that weren’t and needed to get replaced. The codes that were also on the computer. Me taking it to 611 was due to the payment plans but I also expected my car back and running 100 but that was not the case so I have a 4300 bill for repairs that could of been the issue and another 550 that didn’t fix the issue and was also told he added extra stuff to be done cause I knew what the car needed by another mechanic along with being told the throttle body was the original one that they changed. Orr the fact that after picking it up from them the second time all the sudden it needed a mass air flow sensor which cost me more $ but they also check that
