    The BBB investigated this company due to the number and type of complaints filed against it by consumers. The BBB also conducted a review of major search engines. Finally, the BBB reviewed the company's website to determine any policies the company had regarding issues that were the subject of our investigation.
    The Better Business Bureau contacted the company due to consumer complaints alleging that they had made purchases online, and had received expired or lesser quality items. Some consumers alleged they had found charges that they did not authorize.
    The BBB requested a response on what may have been the cause and any remedies planned. Business responded and stated consumers are to contact the store they made the order with and the store will replace the items or issue a refund. Refunds typically take 3-5 days. 
    Business stated that any unauthorized charges are taken seriously and all incidents are researched. Customers are able to contact the Corporate Customer Solutions Department who can then provide a receipt for the customer to file a dispute with their financial institution and/or local authorities.

      I purchased a top round roast on May 18, 2024 at the ****** store. It looked like a nice cut of meat, but when I unwrapped it and turned it over, about 90% was nothing but fat and gristle. I have sent a complaint to **** and they have not responded. My complaint is not about getting a refund, as I was not able to return it. My complaint is that piece of meat should have never been wrapped and put up for sale as a top round roast. This was diffidently a bait and switch. Weis markets should have better standards. I no longer trust their quality.*****************************************************************************
