In May 2021 my wife and I chose Banes roofing to replace our roof on our house. Included in the contract were the replacement of existing gutters and the encapsulate our flashing with black aluminum covering to prevent rot and destruction from woodpeckers and carpenter bees. Due to Covid related issues and supply issues Banes had to postpone the working on our roof to Oct 4th, 2021. We planned the painting of our house to be finished right on Oct 3rd, and the painter would also remove the existing gutters on the last day. This was done. Banes did not show up on Oct 4th, and were not out on the job until 2 or 3 weeks later. However, they were not able to install the gutters which would arrive '2 weeks later'. After our house showed leaks in our new addition because of the lack of gutters. On November 12th I reached out to Banes for a so-manieth-time now threatening to claim damages with their company of the leaks, that they hired a third party to put the gutters on. After that, we heard nothing from them anymore. The installation of the flashing was not started and Banes roofing did not reply other than 'they would start 2-3 weeks from now'. This has been going on until July 6. In the meantime the wooden flashing started to rot and vermin did cause the damage we tried to prevent. The guys installing the flashing showed up for 2 days, finished 1/5 of the work, and then left. Leaving all their material in our yard, including ladders that were set up to our roof. The reason why they left was because Banes roofing decided on their own to change the type of material that we approved. We haven't seen them again.I have been in contact with Banes roofing many times. I still get every time a response that they will finish the work 'this week', which they have been saying many, many times. But no one shows up. The damage to our house is causing serious issues and we NEED them to hone the contract they have with us and finish their work ASAP to prevent further damage.Business response

Roof done 6/2021... siding done 8/2021. Paid in full 9/2021. Siding and roofing repairs not finished... Siding contractor ruined new shingles and did not repair pork chop corner of house..39000 was cost of job. In contact with them promising to take care of it in 2 weeks.... still have not contacted me for a date....was charged for 12 sheets plywood when 6 were used...... just asking for repairs to be done and 6 sheets of plywood...... would like to know what is going onCustomer response

Bane%27s roofing last contact was November 4 2021. Have not heard anything since paid in full. Promised to return to finish job to customer satisfaction.Business response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will reach out to *************************** to make arrangements to take care of her concerns with the roof and siding issues. As for the wood replacement discrepancies, we will make a visual account of what was and not replaced. If there are any other concerns please let me know.
