On December 28th I called the establishment and inquired what it would cost to replace an overhead garage door spring and was told it would be $189.00 for the first one and $94.50 for the 2nd one providing nothing else needed to be replaced. I scheduled someone to come out to replace both springs. He came out at 3:50 P.M. and I was walking into my house at 3:20 P.M. after the work was done and workers left. He replaced both springs and was here only ½ hour. He charged me $199.99 for labor. This is ridiculous. He also had the audacity to charge $12.95 extra because I used a charge card instead of paying cash, also ridiculous. This is a part of doing business for the company if they take charge cards. They charged me $451.41 including the $12.95 for using a charge card. I also called the company on December 29th to talk to a supervisor and received an answering machine. I requested a call back and as of 48 hours later I have not received a call back. I gave the company 5 business days to refund the difference between what was quoted to me as the charges and what the repairman charged me. $283.50 plus $19.85 Tax equals $303.35. This is a difference of $148.06 which includes the $12.95 charge for using a charge card.
