Similar to another complain here, dual visits, and charged for items not installed. This started by providing the code for my AprilAire humidifier.. PAT could not fix the code, came back 3 weeks later.. fixed, great! A bunch of spliced wiring in the ground.. no problem. We get a bill for 2 visits, a humidistat and sensor, neither of which were installed. I called Kenrich 6 TIMES over 8 weeks, requesting a call back from PAT, no call back. I dealt with the most HORRIBLE phone person, IRENE.. my last call, I told her we paid the bill, we’re giving up on the callback, and told her I felt Kenrich Co. was ‘Shady’ and have to assume I was scammed on the bill, that is must be BS. In June 2020 I paid about $1000 to Kenrich for a new AC unit in my attic. In August 2022 I had a leak in the attic. The Contractor came out and told me he stopped the leak but needs to come back + finish the job. He requested that I pay him (which I did) for his services and he will be back and no further charges. Another Contractor came out and finished the job about 10 days later. He did not ask for money as he agreed there was NONE due. I have received 3 invoices from Kenrich starting September 29, 2022. The last invoice was January 6, 2023. The invoice shows $145-Labor, 150 Wet Switch and $10.23 finance charge. I have spoken to them and told them there was not to be a 2nd charge for coming back to complete the work. This went on deaf ears. This harassment needs to stop. I can only wonder how many people they do this to. I am contacting you to put an end to this. I have been in the financial business for the past 43 years and charging a finance charge by a Contractor is against the law in Pennsylvania. You must be licensed by the Commonwealth to collect interest and be of a business that is acceptable in Pa. (Bank, Mortgage Company, Insurance Company, etc, not a Contractor.) My attorney has told me he can get a subpena to investigate all invoices from Kenrich and report copies to the Banking Commission in Harrisburg for all interest illegally charged.over the years.

Mr. G******, the system replacement was over $1,000.00 and our tech came to your home after hours for a leak. At that time you paid him for the after hours call of $150.00, when our tech returned to make the final repair you were not charged the service call again, but were charged the labor which was $45.00 not $145.00 and for the part of $150.00 also which was out of warranty. The pricing for these services if fair. At this time we are asking you to pay the bill of $195.00 which is made out to Lincoln United Mortgage Corp. We also spent time sending this information to your insurance company for which they have made some monetary payment to you. The finance charges will be voided so that we may each go our separate ways.
